Asian Buffet — Restaurant in Mesquite

Update: September 3, 2022! I went today with my mom. The food was really good and well-cooked. I think the prices are just going up a little bit. The man working on the grill is really professional. I usually go there and ask him to grill my chicken with onion, green peppers, hot pepper, broccoli, green onion, hot sauce,soya sauce, and garlic!! Try it! It is really good. 🤍 Thank you Chef! I think this place is good in terms of customer services and prices. Every time I go, I see many people attending. You just need to go there in the right time. I think 11 am would be perfect to find everything fresh.

In terms of food, I cook my plate by myself. I don't like seafood. Therefore, I ask the person in the customer sevices to cook the chicken with green pepper, white onion, green onion, garlic, broccoli, hot sauce, and soya sauce. Add the vegetables you like. I only take French fries and coleslaw from the buffet with bread. I also like the sweets they have especially the yallow custard with vanilla cream on top and biscuits in the bottom. I don't know if it has a special name, sorry. However, from my parent's experiences, they like to come here for the seafood. They really like it, and we are customers for this restaurant. I also have met many of my friends here in Mesquite. They also told me they like this restaurant. If you find anything not ok, just speak to the customer services directly or pick a different food. Just look at the food you are adding to your plate.

Regarding the prices, as I said, they are very reasonable and perfect for all people.

I used to love going here but they have changed their plate size for take aways. They made the to go plates way smaller and almost flat in shape. They did that to reduce the amount of food we carry out as customers! I think that is wrong! If you are doing well in business and already charging us for the weight? Why change the size? It's already hard as it is having to do take away! Many of us would like to eat there but we cannot afford to so we are forced to do take away. Now we can't even put the food we want in the plates anymore because the to go plate is smaller. You are trying to make us pay for two plates now instead of being able to fit everything in one plate! That is not right! Pls fix it and go back to your original plates you had for the size of to go plates! Don't try to be greedy and make more money and end up losing customers! I would have rated you 5 stars but because of this I will rate you 1 star.

Also lastly pls tell your staff that when they see a black person serving themselves and putting their food in their To go plate, they don't need to hover around and follow me around the bar! I am not going to steal food especially with the fact that I am pushing a stroller! You guys have to learn to treat black customers the same way you treat white customers with respect and kindness. Stop talking about us in Chinese and be professional! Thank you and pls stop...

As a current staff who works there I understand people's problems. After reading most of the reviews and going through the aspects of people's opinions I figured that it varied in few.

I'm the only kid who works as a waitress so please refrain from saying anything judgemental to my comment. All I'm saying is that when I go on Sunday it'a not easy. I already have everything planned out from busy hours to my eating schedules.

I'm not complaining about food since Ive already had the food every Sunday for about 6 months now. The hostesses are also not my problem. I'm just a waitress doing her job. But please note that we are all busy people trying to close the store in time. We have to clean the entire buffet by ourselves, the staff.

There is no machine that helps us- I'm sorry if your experiences are terrible. I'm sorry if I am such a bad waitress. I am just very awkward and stressed out. I enjoy this job, I really do and seeing all the negative comments sorta made me want to make this review.

Cuatomer service is actually really great here. I may be awkward and shy but that doesn't stop me from asking if you want refills or if you want your check. From my experience I'm just gonna say that this is a really decent Chinese place if youre looking for someone...
