We unfortunately had a crappy experience here. As soon as we walked to the host stand they looked at us without a word and walked away- not a good first impression but not a huge deal. We were sat in a booth towards the back and weren’t greeted for quite some time- usually not a huge deal either. He finally gets our drinks and we order an appetizer. After getting the drinks a long time passes and he starts bringing the set up for my friends pizza she ordered. The food comes out and we mention we never received our appetizer and he goes “oh let me go see.” And we never see him again. My food was cold as soon as I got it, it took forever to wait until he got back to tell him so. There was no apology etc. He finally brought my new plate back which was warm and my friend asks about the appetizer from earlier and tells him we don’t want it now. He says something like “oh, well i think another table had gotten it and that was the issue.” Well the other table he’s referring to was his table also. Long time passes and we finally get our checks. He goes to get change for my friend and once again disappears for quite a while. they were not busy there was 4 tables in the whole restaurant. They also said they had half price pizza on the menu but charged my friend full price and when she asked about it he said it was because it was a large- he did change the price but told her she was wrong because they don’t do that for larges. We are frustrated because the waiter didn’t seem to care one bit and refused to really check on us. We felt like we had to track him down and there was no real apologies for the mistakes that were made. I was going to wait and talk with a manager but by that time we had waited around long enough and needed to leave. Two of us are in the service industry. So we get it. And I hate writing reviews like this but the whole experience was ridiculous. Not only will I not be going back to this location but any of the locations. Do better, y’all. Ps the pumpkin ale I had was good so I guess...
Read moreIt has taken me a while to get over what happened to my husband and I for our anniversary. Our anniversary is May 20 and we were going to go someplace else but since I had never been to this BJ'S we decided to go ahead. We walk in, it was nice we figured we'd have good service since it didn't look too busy. The young hostess that walked us to the booth didn't seem like she wanted to be there but had too. The waiter eventually comes and gets our drink orders. We place our order, I wanted the rib-eye with the salad. The salad comes and it's another girl and I ask for silverware and she says oh you didn't get any, then walked talked to the hostess and I'm assuming a manager and kept walking to where the To-go orders are taken. Still nothing 5 minutes later. I get up and directly speak to the manager and tell him I'd like to eat my salad now but I need silverware because our waiter had never come back. He brings one set for me and I ask for a refill as well. Then he comes brings another set of silverware for my husband but no tea. OK fine I can drink from my husband's. My food comes out and the waiter asks if there's anything else and I ask for tea again. I looked at my steak and it didn't look like a rib-eye but I'm hungry and it's our anniversary dinner so I cut into it. Immediately I know it is not MEDIUM RARE but medium well to well done. The waiter hasn't came back and we've been there for at least an hour. I finally get him back and tell him my steak is not cooked correctly and I want to speak with the manager. (Granted I have seen another manager on the floor walking around and thinking he will be coming here.) He says I can get you another steak and I just tell him never mind I will just eat my side and some of my husband's dinner. No manager no apology no one ever comes to our table. They were definitely not busy at all to overcook a 25$ piece of meat. It's infuriating that our anniversary dinner ended the way it did. Very disappointed and anger...
Read moreMy family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. Today, it was the worst service anyone could receive. The restaurant is not cheap and it has always been good food and drinks and the atmosphere relaxing. To describe what happened today.... walked in, asked to sit in the bar area, bar tender asked hostess if I was going to sit down in his bar, to what I turned and asked her, does he not want us to sit on his area? She responded I am sorry, I can find you a floor table... who in their right mind, as a hospitality employee would ever make a comment about a guest sitting in their area? For no reason at all besides the fact that he was busy and didn’t want to work.... what a way of making your patrons feel un appreciated, on top of going through this terrible times, and we chose to come in and help your business with our interest in your service??? What a royal piece of work. Ok,,,, I asked to see the manager, the manager came out and I spoke to him and shared what happened. He apologize and say us down in the bar and made sure we had another waiter to attend us. Then, while this is going on this “bar tender” (young male Hispanic, or he seemed Hispanic) was laughing around after treating his patrons in such a disrespectful way... we got an appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip, and IT WAS BURNT!! Wow... ok we got a replacement we ate it, drank our drinks and it’s time to go..... I don’t know about you, but I was a waitress for many years in college and the one golden rule my manager thought me was, the customer is always right, if something goes wrong, it is our job to make it right.. they are the reason why we are in business... well we got our ticket and the manager never came to make sure everything was ok or nothing.. the bar tender kept working and walking around like nothing happened. What a disappointment on service.... sad day today. The name of the bar tender is Michael or “Mikey” and the manager on shift was Dale....
