Chi's Wok — Restaurant in Mesquite

I was a dedicated customer of this restaurant for about 4 years UNTIL one day it became America vs Chi's Wok. I would always tip $5+ even when I picked up my order. They were friendly and would chat with me quite often. One night I got off late from work, placed my order from the road and when I got home, I expected my food to be delivered within 10-15 minutes. I eagerly opened my container and was not pleased. I understand it may have been about 3 hours from closing but the rice was clumped up and everything was lukewarm. I called and told them "this is not your typical service, can I get a refund or a new order?". She asked "whats wrong with your order?" Mind you, this is the lady I had almost always dealt with and called me "honey" when I walked in. I said "I know you guys can do better. My rice is clumpy and its cold. I even tipped the driver. I tip all the time". She loudly said "You Americans are so picky! You complain --" I immediately cut her off and said "1st even if I was in China, I would demand better quality. I KNOW YOU know that better than I do. 2nd I'm always bringing you business and have never had an issue. 3rd since you're in America and have issues maybe you have a problem. I welcome any and everyone of all backgrounds BUT you cannot relocate to a place and talk about the very people who provide you income. THIS has nothing to do with your ideas of complaining Americans. Your appropriate response should've been to try and correct an unhappy customer." Delicious fresh vegetables/meats, soups and rice dishes. Lots of entrees to choose from! Made to order, right on the spot. Fantastic chef cooked my meal to perfection! Can modify according to spiciness. This is a well-established restaurant that has been in business at this exact location for many years. The food and service is always great quality! The only thing is, today I was charged for the dinner portion (instead of lunch - it was before 4pm) and also because of that, did not receive a spring roll with my entree. Oh well, the cashier waitress was so caring, made up for that by kindness! Was shakey because hadn't eaten all day, except a cracker earlier. She (Sandra) voluntarily brought me some shrimp veggie rice and a glass of nice, cold ice water while waiting for my order. I was having such tremor shakes in my right hand, I was so hungry! This is a takeout only spot, got it via UberEATS today and I'm really happy with my order! My only complaint would be that the fried rice needed maybe a bit more flavor as is, but when you add soy sauce.. it's really yummy! The chicken egg roll was ASTOUNDING 😍 I don't think I've ever had a better egg roll tbh, it was warm when it got here and stayed warm till I got around to eating it. If you like tiny egg rolls it might not be for you because this one is FAT and full of delicious flavor! I got the big meal with orange chicken and garlic shrimp. There actually wasn't a lot of shrimp, but I got enough food that it didn't matter and I enjoyed the veggies!
