We visit twice in hoping for a better experience. I regretted it because it turned out worst! First time my husband and I visit my husband was happy with his meal and sushi, he said the sushi rolls could be a bit bigger. I didn’t like the chicken and shrimp fried rice, it looked or tasted good, not even with the hot oil. We tried a second time since my husband loved it and we came with our family . We were about 15 people in all.My orange chicken was ok, but service started of good but ended up terrible. The older lady that took care of us forgot to put bring out some our food to the table ,tried charging us twice a meal. We should have been upset but we weren’t, we understood how things could be confusing with a large party. After correcting her about the mistake she did on our bill she took and attitude with us . My son as for separate ticket and paid cash and was preparing to tip her as she started demanding her tip! And saying that her tip was separate from the bill. I don’t understand her culture but we have been taught that asking for a tip is straight out rude. And much more that she was demanding for one and upset about it. A tip is earned and not demanded and you get tipped accordingly. It was very unpleasant and embarrassing . Even though I wasn’t crazy about it since I’m very reserved in not exploring much different foods , my family like all that dumplings, sushi and noddles I really wanted them to enjoy it. I was really looking forward to impressed my family with these place. We spent about $450 … My be etiquette and manners should be part of...
Read moreThis place is as the youngings say MID. I’m no expert on Asian Fusion but it’s one of my favorite foods and there are essential/basic things you look for.
Enviroment and cleanliness 8/10 place is nice and clean. Service was good, no wait time, service was fast, waitress was sweet. But food fell short. We got the Spring Rolls, Xiao Long Buns, Spicy Beef Hand Pulled Noodles and Beef Stir Fried Noodles.
Spring Rolls: Were good, picture shows a few but read fine print it only comes with 2 lol.
Long Buns: Were way smaller than expected therefore not much soup or filling and filling wasn’t very flavorful but the sauce it comes with was not good (in my opinion)
Noodles: I like that they “make there own hand pulled noodles” the name of the place is King Noodles so I expected more noodle plate options. Immediately the broth was different. I felt like I was drinking chamomile tea soup, you just get notes of chomomile or chai wich was odd to me for broth, salt and chilli oil helped a lot, again noodles were good, beef was TOUGH, could have been way more tender if it was thinly sliced but cut was chunky and meat was tough, I also found it really odd that they only gave me half of my whole egg and egg was overcooked and basically boiled not braised.
Stir-Fry was better but portions have been bigger at other Asian places we have been too. But overall was good.
Overall glad we have a place to get noodles now in Mesquite but wouldn’t easily recommend to others. Hope to maybe come back and find it improved...
Read moreIt's always a pleasure to find a new place close to us, with a creative and diverse menu of Asian fusion cuisine. I would have to say this is probably the first place that we dined or ordered from three times in one week. First time we went in and loved the atmosphere, the little bar, the staff is attentive and super friendly, the menu has so much that we had to explore over 3 days and we've only just began to sample all the delicious dishes. First night we had an old favorite of ours- General Tao's chicken and we also tried the chicken fried noodles which was excellent. Next time we order the spicy beef Handful Noodle Soup delivered to our home. Very good. The next night we had GrubHub deliver Hibachi chicken and shrimp with rice. It was hard to choose which Hibachi plate and we will try another next week. From appetizers to dumplings, hibachi, hand pulled noodles and rice dishes, there is a world of pleasure to explore the menu further. I also feature sushi which we will dive into sooner or later but we are novices with that cuisine. They have a sake bar which is on our to-do list. We enjoyed the Sapporo premium beer. If you like good Asian food, their soups and noodle dishes are hard to beat. If you enjoy a good service and quick service, they don't mess around. Even when we ordered it we delivered or went straight over there to pick it up it was always fresh hot and ready. I'm so glad you found some place that we can enjoy regularly without...
