Southern Maid Donuts — Restaurant in Mesquite

Nice staff. Donuts are cold, thick and tasted old. Kolache bread old and tough. Tastes NOTHING like Southern Maid in Shreveport. Definitely not made fresh. Never again.

Update: Called to express my disappointment. Was told that they make the donuts once at 6am and serve the same old donuts all day and charge the same price whether fresh or not! I suggest Southern Maid do like Louisiana's Southern Maid and make them fresh by the hour or charge discount price for donuts over a couple hours old. Only thing I was offered is a "I'm sorry maam". Stuck with 11 horrible donuts that are going in the trash. I wont be going back. Definitely gives Southern...

showed up at 5:00 a.m. The man came to the front and lock the door I could tell he was in the middle of making everything there was nothing in the windows I asked him if he had any fresh donuts ready he said no so he had some collages ready and stuff but no donuts so I had to pass I went...

They are very nice and pigs in blanket always fresh I decided to do a review bc there aren't any recent reviews and this is my fave donut shop in mesquite they deserve recognition
