Ordered a 4pc spicy dark with fries *dinner via the drive thru. Once arriving to the window, I was told there was a wait on biscuits and directed to move 10 feet ahead behind another vehicle waiting on food. Ten minutes later my order is brought out and after checking it was stale chicken, one thigh had burned crust, and a wing. I brought the order back into the store and asked for a refund. The manager asked me what was wrong with the food. If burned stale food and giving the customer a wrong piece without inquiring with them about options is not a problem then I demanded a refund. I left the food with her, as I thought she was refunding the money back to my debt card.
Checked my account a couple of days ago and the money was never refunded. After contacting corporate they replied since the transaction occurred outside of their 7 day time frame when it takes a couple of days for debt transactions to be refunded nothing can be done. No refund, but advice on how to use their app, and a complete blank apology.
The immense incompetence with this store coupled with the lack of empathy from Corporate sends a very bad message to the customer. Popeye’s is bad for business. I will not continue to support thieves am permanently done with Popeye’s.
Reply to the owner 8/14/25: This response is much more warranting than what I received from corporate, but that ship has sailed. I’ve provided all the details you need to corporate. The simple solution would have been to refund my money for a product that was not consumed but your franchise has tarnished the will to patronize any Popeye’s. There are plenty more restaurants within the same corridor, and elsewhere serving up better quality product than what Popeye’s...
Read moreIt's almost considered petty, but the customer service was almost comical - being in the customer service - In the present tense, and for a strong decade, your customer service is repulsive and the act of filling the required duties for working the window seemed strenuous. I like to put myself into everyone's shoes - and since the lobby was empty and I was the only car - it's safe to assume the elevated, conversation, or "tea" between the 4 "or however many" employees working tonight - was extremely important to her 🤔 who knows 🤷🏻♀️
I have to say, I drove away - feeling as though I was part an elaborate joke for a hidden camera show - pulling me out of my the current mood, into an agitated state...and as a customer, with no options, and possibly never to be rectified, my only outlet is to leave a review.... at a fast food place.....at popeyes..... and the thought of that alone, being in the hospitality industry - disappoints me.
Anyway wanted to shout out the management team for this location 🫡 Since every employee is a reflection of the leadership, that is the example...
Thanks for the cold food - and the cold service haha 🫠👌🏼 yall really know how to make someone feel better about spending money during this recession. Goodnight

Read moreI go to this Popeyes 1301 Veterans Blvd from time to time when we are working on our properties in the area. About 4 months ago I went through drive through and there was something wrong with my order. The manger was extremely unprofessional, aggressive and motioned as if she wanted to fight because I addressed her about my order. Today 7/25 between 3:00 a3:30 I went through drive through. Someone got on the speaker to say the drive through is not working you have to come in. That was strange to me because they still could’ve took my order. I parked my car and when I got out someone pulled through the drive through before I walked in I paused to see if they were going to take their order and they did. When I walked in it was the same manager from 4 months ago at the counter sitting and literally all the employee was crowded around the front counter and food are sitting and talking and look at me. I was going to order but it looked so unsanitary. They talking, laughing on their phones, leaning around the food. It was a mess. It was a similar scene from the last time I was there. I’m glad I was made to walk in I won’t be back there it look like no one washes their hands. Whoever the owner. They need to get their business in order this is not...
