RJ's Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Methuen

Totally love this place....its a quick shot up 93N from Boston and only 10 min up 93N from 95. Its my kind of America in there.....all types of people young...( great people watching) ...but its better to get in the mix...alot of friendly people....my first time there i was playing pool against 2 girls and there was a high top table very close by full of old timers....the nicest old guy was watching me play like a hawk..then he called me over and said hey "slim" ( im not slim at all lol) you really gonna let your self get beat by a couple a "skirts"....by the end of the night we were buying beers back and fourth , i was calling him coach and he was calling me slim and we had covinced the 2 girls i met there that he was my grandfathers brother and they were calling him uncle papa........i like the apps there....great TV screen placement for sports....staff is cool under pressure...they have darts too i think, it was also a trivia night first time i went.......great place to go if youre looking for an adventure or have friends youd like to visit in merimack valley.....def a good ace to keep up the sleeve on a date night if you have got thru dinner and...

First time going, decided to try it out since my friends go. Started off great... I Went to get my Friend a drink at the bar and I got the flavor he wanted mixed up and told the bartender the wrong one. Then corrected myself. Went back to play pool and she brought me a water, assuming I was drunk.. I only had a few beers and a shot (throughout a few hours)was barley buzzing. Went to pay my tab at the end of the night it was totaled to $60. I wrote cash in the tip spot ,left cash and wrote the total as $60. Woke up in the morning to an $80 withdrawal in my bank. Bartender gave herself a $20 tip.. been trying to contact a manger to no avail... Was my first time. Probably my last. Haverhill has better spots to drink. (Update): I was refunded but the owner was very rude at the end of the phone call. Said I was lying about what I said, and said being Drunk gets you cut off... Which I had to explain how you can't get Drunk off of 3 beers...

Went here for the first time to do comedy. One of their patrons or a comedian hit my car 03/31/25 backed into it hard and took off without even caring probably over served by the bar. It was a white car that hit my white car police called and a report made for a hit and run. Video surveillance being looked at from other businesses with the timeline from an eye witness. If you think you can hit a car and leave the scene and I won't find you well think again. If the bar isn't willing to help then I'll do it alone. Went here once won't be back for fear of damaging more property. Also poor service sat at a table no one carded us. No one came over to ask if we needed anything so we didn't order anything because I shouldn't have to track down a service person as a patron. You can only stay afloat as long as the drunks...
