I placed my first online order here and picked it up. (mostly because the place is so dirty that i don't even want to eat there, it's never clean, anyway the lady who gave me my order WAS very nice, but she didn't put the dressing cup cover on tight, so when i carried it out put it on my car seat, drove home, when i went to carry it out, i realized the dressing cap fell off and it poured EVERYWHERE!! all over everything sparing only the chips. When i went to contact chipotle online, you can NOT reach any customer service (new thing that all the crappy companies are doing) You can write a report but unlike the old days, you're supposed to just DEAL with mistakes and errors of the employee now and just take the loss. Really bad business practice. Anyway i found online the number to call and called. When i tried to explain what happened she just said that she'd make a report and they would try to do better. No offer of compensation of course. So when i asked if there was anything they could do about the fact my meal was ruined, she acted confused like she didn't understand what i explained really clearly, and she almost acted like i was crazy or exaggerating...made me feel VERY uncomfortable. Again very bad business practice. Then she said because i used a coupon and didn't pay ( i DID pay!!! i paid for a quesadilla and chips and salsa! but I had a buy won a buy one get one so i got a quesadilla.) she said she couldn't replace the meal but would give me a coupon to replace only the thing i bought. That's pretty sad. All i wanted was to have a nice lunch with my mom and not have to deal with a ruined meal error of employee, Ruined meal, loss of product, and then humiliation for trying to get compensation for it. It's really a shame how businesses are now a days. I am not one of those people who wants things for free or is cheap or greedy. I simply just feel people should do the right thing....
Read moreChipotle needs to demand their name back and ask the owner to rename this location to whatever he/she wants because it does not reflect the values of the brand. I placed my order online but it was not ready at the indicated time. I found several customers who had ordered online and were waiting. But I noticed only the Hispanic customers who had ordered online were being fussed over by the staff . The rest of us non-Hispanics had to wait and watch. The staff also served the paying customers who were on the line and just never looked in my direction. I asked if I could confirm my order had gone through and I was told it was coming and that they were running behind. Of course I did not want to appear inpatient lest I end up with God knows what in my food. Meanwhile I watched inquiries from Hispanic men being printed and processed right away. Finally, 50 minutes later, when there were no customers at all (online or in person/paying) left and the staff were off their cell phones , my order was prepared. When it was handed to me I asked what took so long and I was told sometimes orders get missed for example if someone steals your food. Apparently the owner knows that people steal food but he has done nothing about it. I am not sure that is true but I know that my food was not stolen because I was there the whole time. My order was not ready when I got there and for the rest of the time, it was just ignored. (The receipt that was used to prepare my order was sitting on the back bar the whole time). My advice is if you are Hispanic male, just order online, you will be treated like royalty . Other races, just go in person and don't take the risk of...
Read moreWe were really excited to try Chipotle and we couldn’t be more unimpressed and honestly angry. We ordered through DoorDash. My wife is a vegetarian and she ordered the Cheese Quesadilla. She selected the 3 toppings - sour cream, salsa and guacamole, and she ordered the “add-on” Fajita Vegetables. We received the order quicker than expected however 2 things were wrong, and of course with the vegetarian order. The quesadillas come in a compartment style tray, with 3 spaces for the toppings. Hers had one empty where it should have had the guacamole. (Error 1). The order also did not have the fajita vegetables. At all. Not IN the quesadilla or on the side. No veggies to be found. (Error 2) It was basically a $13 grilled cheese.
The final straw, and big reason for 1-star? You cannot reach a human at the restaurant! After a maze of automated commands getting me nowhere but disconnected or told to “enter my remote access code” (WTH? Was it Chipotle voicemail or something?) Next I tried their “chat” which passes the buck to call DoorDash. So I called them, and while they said they tried to contact them, I ended up with a DoorDash credit.
I still do not get why it would be a DD problem - they weren’t in the kitchen personally putting my order together! Needless to say, I’ve lost my appetite dealing with this horrible experience. First chance I get I am going to the restaurant and relay this in person, since you know, no human answers the phone....
