I love this place! The drinks start off sweet, but they note that on their menu by asking what level of ADDITIONAL sweetness you want. I usually choose 0% additional sweetness and it's perfect. The owner is really friendly and accommodating.
The ambience is classy and clean; and they actually have a good amount of tables while still feeling spacious. It's not super crowded with minimal working space like Akihi. (I spent the day here at BTT working on an essay.) There's only one outlet, but another customer was nice enough to offer to trade seats with me so I got to use it to charge my laptop. I guess that's the only feedback I have — to have extension cords so more people can use the outlets? I brought my own just in case. Thank you Boba Tea Time for the free wifi!
The back has a ping pong table and there are boardgames/card games provided, as well. It's nice that the game room is in the back so if people want a quieter space, they can have it towards the front. They also have a photobooth — cute and a fun addition if you want to make memories with friends here. I'm probably going to bring some church members here after church services to hang out together!
I also appreciate that this place closes late (midnight!) so I could work here longer without interrupting deep/focused work.
I got the rose black tea milk at 0% additional sweetness and non-dairy creamer. Super refreshing! Also tried the taro at 0% additional sweetness and it was very yummy.
There are 10% off deals on weekdays 3-5pm — deals on different items depending on the day. I'm really tempted to come here on Fridays since they have 10% off fries with the purchase of a drink.
This is my new favorite spot to work, hang out with friends, and grab boba. Super excited that...
Read moreBeen to this place many times, tried taro, thai and black milk tea flavors. The drinks are on the sweeter side, even without selecting any additional sugar. Perhaps they should consider providing an option to customize sugar levels, as other boba stores do
That said, reason for low rating is mainly due to the bad experience in the store (order 225 on 3/10 around 6:40pm). The person who made my drink put his fingers directly into the drink to remove excess ice cubes.
He put ice in my drink even when I selected no ice in the black milk tea. it’s disgusting to see someone putting bare fingers in the drink and offering without slightest of shame when I pointed out that I asked for no ice, his next action is to pop the same drink into another cup removing ice cubes.
When I asked to cancel the order because of the unhygienic way it was prepared, that is when he is willing to make a new drink. Seriously?
We don't always stand there and observe how the drinks are made
Not coming back and won’t recommend it unless you pay attention to how your order is made.
Oh and lastly, now they started charging for ping pong and shuffleboard, $8 before 6pm for 30 mins and $10 after 6pm...
Read moreUpdate: Given the aggressive nature of the business's response, I have included a photo of their employee's phone call to me at 10:06pm on Jan 18, 2025, when they cancelled my reservation. Evidently, the business needs to improve their processes/controls around reservation management.
I had a confirmed reservation at Boba's karaoke room, only to have it abruptly canceled a mere 30 minutes before our scheduled time. The excuse? The group before us was "taking longer than expected." This level of disorganization is completely unacceptable—especially considering I waited over 30 minutes earlier that day just to be put on the list and secure the karaoke room in the first place.
The lack of respect for customers' time and plans is staggering. There was no apology, no solution offered—just a shrug and a canceled night. If you value your time, your plans, or even basic courtesy, avoid this place entirely. I’ll be satisfying my karaoke and bubble tea cravings at establishments that actually understand what customer service and...
