What a wonderful meal my daughter and I had here. The place has just opened and even though I have passed by this building and have seen the name change over and over again I felt like it was calling me. Well my daughter and I walked in and were served one of the best meals of my life as far as breakfast goes. I had eggs Benedict and my daughter had a mixed fruit waffle. I ordered Apple juice and my daughter OJ. After taking a sip of the OJ I knew by having apple I messed up. I immediately order an OJ and had 2 more after it. Freshly pressed and it was obvious. The food was cooked to perfection. The waffle was amazing, fruit was fresh, side of bacon amazing and not some cheap brand, the Eggs Benedict Oh My God. I had order the Benedict with a side of corned beef hash and the chef put the hash on the English muffin then put my poached egg on top. When I put a fork through it the oooozzzzz party started. The egg was perfectly cooked and when it flowed over the corned beef hash and English muffin with the hint of hollandaise it was just out of this world. So if you’re in the area and you’re looking for great food, stop in this...

New Jersey Folks - Let me share a low key brunch spot that is an absolute favorite of locals and deserves more recognition- Maria's Brunch in Metuchen! Maria's brunch brilliantly infuses the joy of brunch with a tantalizing Mexican twist and has lots of vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options! The vibes at maria's make you feel like you are in someone’s kitchen getting a home cooked meal.My top picks- You cant go wrong with their speciality latte's- Lavender Haze Latte - matcha lovers will love the hints of lavender! Make sure you ask for Less sugar! otherwise its too sweet! My regular cuppas are the rose honey or the churro latte. This time I tried the oreo latte and it was not bad at all!If you love a good old stack of pancakes try the Mixed Cakes- I chose grain based pancakes filled with blueberries and raspberries topped with fresh strawberries & whipped cream

For egg loves- I highly recommend the fajita omelette with chicken! Although our server forgot to serve us salsa or guacamole but usually the service is always on point.

Give Maria's Bruch some love cos they deserve it and I will be back to try the Spring Seasonal...

I came here for brunch based on the reviews - It was between this and another nearby brunch spot that also has good reviews. I chose Maria’s because of the ambience, reviews, menu options, photos, and location. I’m so glad I did!

The staff was extremely friendly and they have a lot of great menu options, which w makes it hard to choose! The parking lot is a bit small so fills up quickly when they’re busy but there’s plenty of street parking around. I came on a Friday and they were pretty busy - It was a 20-30 minute wait time, but they gave me the menu and let me order while I waited which was a great time saver. I ordered pancakes, a side of bacon, pumpkin farina, and hot tea - All were delicious and cost me only $21. Now that’s a deal!

The only “do better” I would recommend is the AC. It was a 90+ degree day and while they had it on, it wasn’t nearly cool enough. It was uncomfortable when I began to sweat while eating. Other than that, I loved it and would definitely come back to try the rest...

Items on the menu all sound very special and creative. We ordered Huevos Rancheros and Chorizo Breakfast Bowl. They also gave a whole bowl of guacamole with chips. Everything was excellent, and the coffee was also really good. I got a tiny bit of an avocado shell on my plate, but it was a good sign that they use fresh ingredients. My husband also really liked the mushroom barley soup, and the flavor was really good. Strongly recommend. My matzo ball soup also tasted great, though the soup itself was a little cold and the matzo ball could be more fluffier in our opinion. It could be us arrived too late for brunch. Definitely arrive early to fully enjoy your brunch. Also, their parking lot can get really crowded and busy. Overall, for the experience, quality of food, flavor, how nice their staff was, 5 stars. Update: We tried their Fall special items. The tres leche pancake is a much try!!!
