Read moreI randomly chanced on this bakery while I was at the train station, that is a stones throw away from Pastry Lu. I had no inkling of what this place was. While I saw the tres leches in the display refrigerators, I decided to buy some coffee and jokingly told the hostess that I ll buy the tres leches if it was “the best” tres leches I have ever had. I was joking because in my head I had a secret recipe that made “the best tres leches” cake ever. The hostess accepted the challenge and I ended up buying 2 passion fruit tres leches cakes to try. Long story short the hostess has won the bet and I am willing to admit that it is by far the best tres leches I have ever had. Now I am left to make the trek out from Princeton to buy these beauties. Their chocolate brownies were amazing too. All in all, a NJ star and a must visit for pastry...
Read moreI have been to this place only about three times, and everytime I have been there I have been very satisfied with my experience.
The first time I went was in the end of August of last year. It was my Mom's birthday, and I needed a cake. I searched for "bakeries near me" and found this place. When I walked in and asked for any cakes they had, they told me that they only had the triple chocolate cake. I ended up buying it on a whim since I really needed one. Long story short, my mom ended up loving the cake. I got to try it myself a few days later and was absolutely blown away. I don't even like chocolate cake, but I found the cake I ordered from here to be AMAZING. That's how you know that this is a good place, when they make you like something that you don't even enjoy in the first place. 10/10 would...
