For starters I wanted to say I almost NEVER leave negative reviews. I try to give the benefit of the doubt most of the time even if I am not entirely happy with the service wherever I am. I come to Miami several times a year for sporting events. I had been meaning to check this place out for some time, but just had not gotten the chance to. I was in town to see the Miami game, and after some thought decided I’d finally go check this place out. Many of the reviews point to a positive vibe, excellent bartenders, good food, and that there is a sports bar inside that is a good place to have a drink, not to mention there are familiar pop culture references to this venue (the Drake song). I primarily wanted to go have a drink and maybe get a few dances before the night was over. That would have been great but that’s not how things happened at all. After paying the entry fee I approached the bar downstairs and was stopped by two of the dancers prior to even being able to take a seat, who began aggressively trying to get me to buy a dance with them, I explained that I was okay, and that I was wanting to have some drinks first, before I proceeded with anything like that. There also appeared to be a possible language barrier as they proceeded to follow me over to the table I sat at, which I did not raise an issue about, and proceeded to purchase drinks for myself, and them. At this point a third dancer joined the group, and then the dancers once again began aggressively trying to convince me to get a dance with all 3 of them. I agreed to this as the price they quoted me was reasonable (26 per girl for one dance), so I agreed to pay 78 dollars to have ONE dance with the three of them. They took me to the back and the guy watching the back confirmed I understood that one dance is 26 per girl, which I confirmed I did, and that I was only wanting one dance. The dance lasted a few minutes, the song changed which I thought was odd as my understanding was dances are only one song, but I don’t know that’s necessarily a fact at every club so I didn’t say anything. The entire time the dance went on only one of them really gave me a dance, and the other 2 did the bare minimum and were essentially just standing a few feet away behind her the whole time as far as dancing and just continued to try to upsell me on a private room which I declined multiple times, this just made the dance itself not enjoyable anyways as this was all they talked about the whole time they were around me. After maybe 5 or 6 minutes, one of the dancers told me that I currently owed them 300 dollars as we’d been going for 3 dances, I was under the impression that this had all been ONE dance and that we had agreed this would be 78 dollars. I immediately told them I had no interest in continuing, and we needed to stop immediately. I had only brought about 280 in with me after paying the entry fee, which I figured would be more than enough for the whole evening. I was then was rushed over to the ATM by the dancers to pay the additional amount I “owed” them, I only complied with this because I was very upset, and was at this point just wanting to leave, and not looking to cause a scene. After giving them this they began to try to convince me to take more out, I just told them no, chugged the rest of what remained of my drink, and left incredibly disappointed, and embarrassed. I had very high expectations for this place, and was very excited to drop by and check it out, needless to say my experience was not something I wish on anyone looking to have an...

RCI Reports 2Q19 Club & Restaurant Total Sales Up 8.2%
HOUSTON—April 9, 2019—RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RICK) today announced total and same-store sales for its Nightclubs and Bombshells restaurants for the Fiscal 2019 second quarter ended March 31, 2019. The company plans to report 2Q19 results on May 9, 2019. 2Q19 vs. 2Q18
Total club and restaurant sales: $44.1 million compared to $40.8 million – up 8.2% Consolidated same-store sales: $38.8 million compared to $39.9 million – down 2.8% Nightclubs total sales: $36.6 million compared to $35.2 million (39 units vs. 38) – up 4.0% Nightclubs same-store sales: $33.9 million compared to $34.3 million – down 1.2% Bombshells total sales: $7.5 million compared to $5.6 million (8 units vs. 5) – up 34.4% Bombshells same-store sales: $4.9 million compared to $5.6 million – down 12.7%
“Nightclubs same-store sales were up against strong year-ago increases from our three large Minneapolis clubs due to high traffic from the pro football championship there, whereas the big game was not in any of our markets in 2Q19. However, it will be in North Miami next year near two of our largest locations.
“While Bombshells same-store sales are still rebounding from year-ago levels, we are making noticeable progress, significantly reducing the percentage decline from its low in 4Q18.” Nightclubs
New clubs added approximately $2.5 million from the November 2018 Pittsburgh and Chicago acquisitions and the May 2018 acquisition of a smaller club in Kappa, IL. All three continue to perform in line with expectations. Excluding Minneapolis locations, Nightclubs same-store sales increased 1.0%, continuing to reflect effective marketing, management and appeal, combined with a good economy. This was partially offset by unusually cold weather from the “polar vortex” in the northern half of the US late January-early February 2019. It's now 2024, beautiful outside at...
Read moreMy fiance and I really enjoyed coming here. One event really took it from five stars down to three.
First and foremost, the girls will accost you no matter where you go. I get it they're trying to sell lap dances, but sometimes I just want to stand at the bar in order a drink without having people hanging on me looking for money. I eventually started telling all of them I'm here with my fiance as I approach me, at that point they would all run away from me. Lol
We watched one of the dancers get touched extremely inappropriately while doing a dance on the lower stage. She actually screamed. The guy took off, my fiance went up to her and asked her if she was okay. She was extremely appreciative of this. My question is, where the hell were the bouncers. That put me on my guard watching my fiance at all times.
We decided to get a lap dance together. We had fun until it came time to pay. Some of the girls charge you $26 per person for one song. Others charge you $26 a song whether someone else is there or not. We stayed for two songs with one young lady. When it was over she told us we owed $150 plus tip. Now I may have been drunk, but I knew that didn't add up. I insisted and told her we owe $104.
She was extremely persistent, at which time I told her I needed to go to the ATM. She followed me to the ATM and hung over my shoulder. I caught her taking a picture of my credit card. I told her to delete the photo off her phone right now or I'm going to talk to her manager and then call the cops. After pushing her, she relented and showed me her phone with the photo and I watched her delete it. I was too drunk to make sure it didn't go into a recycled bin. I then handed her $160 because I didn't have change and she insisted I also owed her a tip. I walked away and told her be lucky I don't tell your manager what you just did.
We then decided to stay a little bit longer and got a second lap dance. This girl was phenomenal, I wish I could remember her name. She was very sweet, very sexy, paid attention to both of us during the lap dance. I wish I had more money to tip or more because I genuinely liked the way she treated us.
All in all, it's a really nice place with a cool atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced for a strip club. We look at the positives of the night and say we had a really good time other than...
