My recent visit to Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen in Miami Lakes was a fantastic. The moment you walk in, the vibrant and clean atmosphere is immediately welcoming, setting the stage for what promises to be a great meal. The food quality is, without a doubt, a highlight. The concept of building your own "bol" allows for a completely personalized and healthy meal. Every ingredient I chose, from the perfectly cooked protein to the fresh, oven-roasted vegetables, tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. The menu is 100% gluten-free, which is a big plus, and their commitment to using quality ingredients is evident in every bite. My chicken was moist and savory, and the sweet potatoes and garlic broccoli were cooked to perfection. It's a place where "healthy" doesn't mean "boring" – it's a celebration of bold flavors and wholesome ingredients. Beyond the delicious food, the service was truly exceptional. The staff at Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen is a team of "rockstars," as they call themselves, and it shows. The people who helped us create our bowls were not only efficient and knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely friendly and enthusiastic. They were patient, offering recommendations and guiding us through the process with a smile. It's clear that the company invests in its people and its culture, and that genuine hospitality translates directly into an amazing customer experience. It’s more than just a quick-service restaurant; it feels like they are truly in the "people business," which makes all the difference. What made this visit even more special was seeing my husband, who was skeptical about a "build-your-own-bowl" concept, absolutely love his meal. It was his first time eating at a place like Bolay, and he was completely won over by how fresh and delicious everything was. Overall, Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen in Miami Lakes delivers on every front. The food is fresh, healthy, and packed with flavor, and the service is provided by a team of friendly, professional, and passionate individuals. It's the perfect spot for a delicious and satisfying meal that leaves you feeling energized and happy. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon.

Please do yourself a favor and stop by. I'm so glad they opened a location in Miami lakes (I was tired of driving to their Pembroke Pines one). Not sure if it's because they just opened, but the staff is very kind and they even open the door for you when they're nearby. I hope the consistency remains. Food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is great and I love how this particular location looks in comparison to their Pines location. As of this writing, their online ordering is not working. When you try to place an order, it says the card can't be processed and instructs you to call the restaurant. I brought up the issue with a worker who confirmed to me they have been dealing with it since opening and are working on it. I hope this is resolved quickly because online ordering has always been a convenience to me. Won't knock off a star for that because I understand grand openings can have its hiccups.

Definitely not a disappointment! I've been here twice, first time was for dinner and the second for lunch, and both times were great. I find the small bowl to be just right but if you are hungrier then the large will probably be best. I had the jasmine rice and kale salad as my base ( yes you can still get 2 bases it'll just be less of each for a small), broccoli and mushrooms which were a great balance and seasoned perfectly, and tofu (must try!!! I am not a vegetarian by any means and I usually avoid tofu because it's just something that you either make right or wrong and this is how you make tofu right!!)! I also put cilantro and call it a day. You get to pick a sauce from several options and although I've tried a few I didn't see a need because the food is already well balanced. This has been a great addition to the area!

I used to go here all the time, so often that many employees there knew my order by memory. I used to like coming here very often because the food was good and fresh and the staff were welcoming.

Last night I visited with my partner and was really disappointed to see that many of the staff were completely new and extremely rude. When my partner and I were approached we were met with blank faces and aggression. The employee was a darker skinned woman with braids and bad attitude.

She barked “what are you ordering” while slamming down the paper bowls and I tried to ignore it and order like normal. Throughout the interaction I felt really uncomfortable and felt like this person just really didn’t want to help me or my partner.

Regardless, I wouldn’t have been so upset if they hadn’t run out of the protein I wanted. It was around 20 minutes to close and they’d run out of tofu, so I got half a portion than usual. By the time I was rung up and asked if there was any way I could get more, the cashier told me they wouldn’t make any more.

A couple minutes later I asked if there was any way I could get a bit of a different protein because they were closing soon and they refused again. I guess it’s more important that the food waste be weighed than avoiding throwing food away, or allowing a customer a full portion of protein that they’re paying for.

This place will rip you off at any point in time. The portions are ridiculous, the service was bad, and the food is way overpriced for what you actually get. Don’t go here if you expect...

On Sunday, February 1st, I visited this establishment with my daughter and was met with an extremely disappointing experience. We waited for about 15 minutes just to receive any service, and from the moment we entered, it was clear that the atmosphere was tense and judgmental. The staff members were unprofessional, standing in a circle gossiping and laughing about customers in line instead of doing their jobs. They didn't even acknowledge our presence or offer a simple "we'll be right with you," making us feel completely unwelcome. I almost walked out, but I stayed hoping for a change. Sadly, this isn't the first time I've had such an unpleasant experience. The workers' dismissive attitudes and blatant judgment were unbearable, with one employee even sizing up my daughter, blatantly staring and laughing at her in a way that made us feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, one of the workers in the kitchen sneezed and didn't bother to wash his hands. This level of disrespect and lack of hygiene is completely unacceptable, especially in a place where customers expect professionalism and cleanliness. I won't be returning. Since the staff most likely wont do anything to fix this, i will be planning to call corporation, because I am very...
