Have been going to Latin America, Miami Lakes over 20yrs and have always been very satisfied but the last 3 times I’ve gone I cannot express my disappointment and utter frustration and can assure you this has been my last. When ordering food instead instead of the bread warm (as they used to), they give you bread that has been sitting inside a cabinet, that’s cold, hard and with no butter…why even bother?? If you order a shake prepare yourself bc the foam cups have shrunk in size significantly and price has increased 🤦🏻♀️ My last experience was when I went to pick up 2 Cuban sandwiches which were cold, I kindly asked the server to plz reheat the sandwiches, finally after waiting a good amount of time “plz note the restaurant was not full” the sandwiches were returned just as cold as I had returned them….unbelievable!! Then to top it off when I got to the office I opened the container where the potatoes chips were in and they were all burned & stale…yuk. I was in a hurry and didn’t check the contents before leaving and that’s on me but I honestly expected more then what I got. The $25 I spent went straight to the trash….now I understand why your clientele has been going downhill. Ohhh and let’s not even discuss the customer service….the servers should all be given a class in “common courtesy 101” But in truth I don’t hold them responsible “it’s...
Read moreTerrible! Just terrible. If you are coming here with any group bigger than 5 just expect to wait 25+ mins just to get seated, after that prepare to wait another 10 min just for a menu. I’ve been going to the Latin American restaurants for 12 years now. Let me tell you a portion of this staff here is unprofessional. They were kissing out in the open in front of all the customers and touching each other doing all this while flirting with other employees. We ordered the steak and eggs and a breakfast meal and let me tell you is no quality control here. The toast had ants and when it was brought up to the manager all he told us was “it happens, even in my house I find ants”. He was trying to justify what had happened to badly but honestly we were not having it. It’s unacceptable for this to happen. Check your tostadas truth me. From what he told us this place will never change and they will never own up to their own mistakes. I’m never come if here again and I’m never going to recommend this location to anyone. We didn’t even finish out food on how...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would've. The four of us were so excited to go eat a Cuban breakfast. More so because my mother in law who is Cuban suggested this place. We walked in and were not greeted, we had to walk around and ask someone how we get a table. We were told to just sit anywhere we want. We picked a table and looked at the menu. We were never greeted and were not really acknowledged. We saw people continuously come in and sit down. In the process we saw 2 employees cleaning tables, one the waiters was walking around filling the sugar canisters and we just sat there like we were invisible. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we saw 4 people walk in and sit down. They were greeted within 30 seconds of sitting down and within 3 minutes the waiter was there taking their order. In the meantime we were sitting for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Guess if you are not Cuban, you...
