I arrived at the Chipotle in Miami Lakes (33014) around 10:42 AM, a few minutes before their official opening time of 10:45 AM. While the doors were open, the food was not yet ready to be served. I patiently waited, and eventually, at 11:00 AM (15 mins of waiting) a friendly staff member offered to prepare my meal. However, I was informed that the kitchen had not yet finished cooking the rice and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes (a half hour wait for the first customer in line) Instead of complaining to the staff member, I politely requested their manager come out. When the manager arrived, he seemed preoccupied with setting up the register. He then abruptly asked me "what's up?" in an aggravated tone. Before I could even explain the situation, he accused me of being angry. I calmly explained that there was no white rice available. He then blamed the lack of service on understaffing and, asked me if I wanted him to "Yell at the rice cooker" to which I said I didn't want him to yell at anyone. Shockingly, told me to "get out of his store" and threatened to call the police. When I questioned why he would call the police, he accused me of "soliciting." I was completely bewildered. I attempted to explain the meaning of "soliciting" to him and emphasized that his behavior was unacceptable for both a customer-facing and a leadership position. I expressed my concerns to the other staff members about this manager's conduct. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and told me to "find it on the internet." I hope Chipotle corporate reviews the security footage and audio (if available) and takes appropriate disciplinary action against this team leader. His behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely...
Read moreI ordered via the website on 3/24 at 5:10PM, for pick up at 5:45PM. When I walked in, the restaurant was packed with customers and well under-staffed. Apparently there was a fundraiser going on. I picked up my order and left. When I got home, both of my salad bowls — which I ordered with steak — did NOT have steak. I verified the receipt details and I paid for steak. Additionally, the guac was old and the food was cold.
I called the store and no one answered. The website chat kept kicking me out. I was offered vouchers for the inconvenience by a chat agent but the agent left the chat before issuing the vouchers.
I had to drive back to the store, and the supervisor at the moment — Maria — was overworked and insensitive. She offered to make the food again but nothing else for the inconvenience. After asking for a voucher for the terrible experience and for having to drive back, she said she could do nothing else with a tone of entitlement. She talked to me like I was trying to take advantage of the situation, when I was simply asking for them to make it up to me. She was rude and did not show empathy.
After this entire experience, there is NOOOO WAY I am ever stepping foot on a Chipotle ever again. The food quality just gets worse every time. Their customer service used to be so good, but now it’s just terrible.
Sad to say this but, me and my family are done with Chipotle. It was great-to good- to bad...
Read moreI come in here at least twice a week. The service is great, the restaurant is always clean and their portion sizing is respectable and consistent. Hats off to that. However... whoever is the person that created and decided on the playlist for the music has earned themselves a first class ticket to the nearest mental institution with the extended stay package. First straight jacket free of charge. Seriously, those repetitive instrumentals are enough to leave a person stuck in limbo forever. Not even Leo could get himself out of it. Maybe I'm missing the point and it's actually the psychotic music that actually keeps people from not coming back because they haven't figured their way back to reality. But if that isn't the case and the person who's decision it was thinks that music is actually enjoyable, you are very mistaken. For all that is good in the world, please throw that playlist away and empty out that trash file. Work already is enough to drive me crazy, at least offer me a nice peaceful setting to eat my...
