Carrot Express — Restaurant in Miami Shores

Representatives of this establishment committed a Felony False Reporting Of An Emergency one night in Summer 2021 upon my first visit a few days before my birthday. I was following mask mandates, and conceal carried a blade (as there had been nationwide riots and I didn’t want to present as menacing). A blade, I was eligible only to pay a fine for had I been stopped for it (as I know my rights working Full-time alongside Law Enforcement in jurisdictions where their Officers respectively follow protocol and investigate calls rather than automatically arrest on any criminally deceptive claim). I ordered a soda. By hand I patted down my pants in search of my wallet. I told the Personnel (whom was taking my order), I forgot my wallet and that I would return soon. Within minutes, I retrieved my wallet from my car, then two cop cars pulled up to either side of me. Officers exited their vehicles and put me to the ground without reading me my Miranda rights. I was processed and brought to jail without the slightest syllable uttered to me. It took a whole week of me being randomly held against my will in starvation, shock, and confusion to find out from the Public Defender, the reason I was brought there. It was because the Carrot Express Server taking my order noticed the shape of what was in my pocket, despite not at all being brandished; despite being spoken to politely, respectfully… he dishonorably decided to commit a full fledged felony and report an incident that didn’t occur. Blatantly lying about my conduct, breaking the law when making the accusation that I brandished my self defense tool in an exaggerated bout of intimidation and “swung at him”. I spent my birthday in jail because I decided to venture out of my comfort zone for once and visit Carrot Express; in preparation for my birthday. I lost my 2 jobs, as Carrot Express Personnel decided to criminally lie to the police because evidently the waiter didn’t like the way that I look. I couldn’t make stable payments to anything for a long time. I struggled to pay to eat. I missed important opportunities and one time personal engagements. I didn’t have a record before, but thanks to the criminal misconduct of the local Carrot Express; now I do. All I got was an apology from a representative of the Local Police Department that recognized that their Officers did not investigate any crime that night in respect to my case, and broke protocols acting on rookie impulse in my arrest. My case was dropped, because Carrot Express couldn’t produce any video evidence to back up their criminally deceptive claims (as is the nature of False Reporting Of Crimes; which is a Felony) as this incident left me in poverty I didn’t have the resources to complete a trial for the eventual acquittal that would have surely transpired before the prompt suing of this establishment. I’m sure when it came time to present surveillance footage of the incident they became aware of there being no incident. I was in jail for upwards of a month, I lost so much. All the while, they were aware they committed a crime. I never received any correspondence from any representative of Carrot Express presenting any compensation to remedy the various problematic circumstances that arose as a direct result of the criminal actions taken against me by personnel representing this establishment that had taken so much from me on my first visit, nor the least bit of an apology.

With that being my only visit, as a Hardworking Law Abiding Native of this Village it would be irresponsible of me to ever promote any location of this establishment as anything of legitimacy, much less anything of a genuine business… as Carrot Express committed a serious Criminal Act against me upon my first and only visit; I ordered 1 drink, I...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carrot Express, and I must say, everything about my experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcomed.

So I moved into Miami Shores about four months ago and I go to carrot express at least two or three times a week well a few nights ago I ordered some food I went and picked it up. I got home and they gave me the wrong food. I told the girl three times at the register what I wanted the turkey bowl the turkey burger bowl and I got home and she gave me sandwiches the turkey like burger sandwich and when I called The lady that answered the phone I think she’s the manager. She was very nice. She apologize she said we have your phone number. I’ll put it and do your phone number. The next time you’re in will give you two complementary bowls so I went tonight to go get the complementary bowls when I went in the young man working the cash register barely spoke English. He pulled up my phone number. He said oh we don’t have any record basically of you. He was extremely rude extremely obnoxious so you know what I don’t have to go back to care express anymore. You know you need to teach your employees customer service you need to have employees that at least speak adequate English And you need to have employees that treat everybody that walk in that door with respect because it wasn’t for your customer so you wouldn’t even have a business yeah I don’t plan to come back into your business anytime soon.
