Best frozen yogurt in Miami, hands down! I’m absolutely obsessed with Meli Greek in Miami Shores. This isn’t your typical sugary froyo — their yogurt ice cream is super creamy, tangy, and completely sugar-free (sweetened naturally so it never feels heavy or artificial). The texture is unreal — thick, velvety, almost like gelato but lighter and way more refreshing in the Miami heat. I had the original tart flavor and load it up with some crushed baklava pieces from their toppings bar. It tastes like a dessert you’d have on a Greek island, not something guilt-free and zero added sugar. Meli’s is such a fun and refreshing addition to the Miami Shores area, and I really hope they thrive because the concept is great. I will say the base flavor could use a bit more flavor overall, as it leaned a little more savory than expected..almost like sour cream. It wasn’t bad at all, just unexpected. The toppings are tasty but a bit scarce, especially since each one is an extra charge. Allowing customers to serve their own toppings and pay by weight could make the experience feel more generous and customizable.

I’m sharing this because Meli just opened less than a week ago and I truly want them to succeed. The frozen yogurt is good and the concept is great. But the guy preparing my order was incredibly stingy with the toppings. He was literally scooping the tahini crumble and then throwing some of it out to make sure it was as little as possible, maybe even less than a teaspoon. It honestly felt way too cheap and took away from the experience.

I don’t mind paying more for toppings, but the portions were so tiny that it didn’t make sense. I hope they improve this because the product itself is okay, but this kind of service will turn...
