Subway — Restaurant in Miami Springs

If I could leave zero stars I would. First off I waited in line for over an hour to get a sub, there were plenty of staff but very incompetent staff members. When I finally got to where is was my time to order I told them I wanted the new Spicy chipotle chicken sandwich foot long on Italian and that I wanted it as it comes in the menu. The first person who was making my sandwich proceeded to ask if I wanted chipotle sauce on the sub, I clearly ordered a chipotle chicken sub as it comes on the menu. So already frustrated by the wait time and now getting frustrated with the staff I get down to the veggie section and the lady asks what I want on the sub. I asked at this point if I was not speaking clearly or if I was not speaking English at all. I again stated that I want the sandwich as it comes on the menu. Finally got the sandwich made, I grabbed a bag of chips and go to the register. The lady working the restaurant asked me what I ordered, I told her, and then she proceeded to ring me up for the wrong sandwich. I did finally get the right sandwich and paid the correct amount. This location takes advantage of the fact that you are limited in food shopping options inside the concourse. I had purchased a meatball sub, which came poorly made. The meat had something very hard inside it. I tried examining it and couldn’t determine what it was. The shape resembled a chunk of a fingernail, but I had no way of confirming this. I called the number on the receipt (because my flight had already departed MIA when I tried eating,) but it just rang endlessly. I tried reaching out to corporate several times through their website (I uploaded the receipt and pictures,) yet never received even a confirmation of my complaint. I simply stopped eating at Subway after this incident, and I hope this store and corporate customer service are very proud of their $10...

Fresh ingredients and fast service. Very friendly and patient. $2 more then I will normally pay but it’s expected since it is at an airport. Well worth it. Love extra veggies and they had no problem giving it to me. Only problem is you cannot use the app for discounts and they have no way of finding location on maps or store number and the employees did not know why, it’s just always been that way they said.
