Burger King — Restaurant in Miami

Just what I thought nothing could get worse than the locations nearest us I find this one. It was late and we were on the way to the hotel from the hospital and figured this could be a safe bet. We were really wrong. Place in the order in the drive-thru was difficult as the sound was very poor but we did get the order through. And the end it wasn't totally correct but we did get our food. The young woman at the window was not friendly at all it seems a little put out having to take care of us. We stopped and checked the bag and all the food was there and we went to the hotel. When we unpacked everything was there and only one sandwich was made wrong. It just had one ingredient on it that it wasn't supposed to. I personally ordered a Whopper with cheese with just ketchup and pickles and I did indeed receive that but it wasn't the quality I expected. It did have ketchup on it and there were four pickles stacked in the very center. When I opened it and discovered this I did move the pickles around but I also discovered that the sandwich smelled a little funny. It tasted okay but I did not finish it and the best thing I can say about it is that I didn't get sick from it. I definitely wouldn't come back here again. I took my kids to Burger King located on 1309 NW 20th street. The security guard name Laronzo told me that my kids (my toddlers) couldn’t run around due to them potentially getting hurt. GRANTED UNDERSTOOD! I tell my kids to sit down and proceed to order food. I also had my 14 year old daughter sitting at the table with them. He is constantly watching my kids at the table. My 14year old lifts her knee up towards her body for 3 seconds to scratch her knee and he tells her to put her leg down. This is absolutely unacceptable! My daughter is old enough to not run around and stand on tables. There’s no reason why he should be watching her every move that hard and tell her to put her leg down when we simply came to dine in and enjoy a meal as a family. He is also very unprofessional to be on FACETIME AND WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEO WHILE ON THE CLOCK. I set a complaint to Burger King and they informed me this is his 3 complaint from customers. They informed me that he is hired from a third party security team SFM security. Unfortunately my experience at burger king dine in was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE due to this security officer. What can you say about a Burger King that everyone doesn't already know?

Amazingly, panhandlers are allowed to beg inside this BK while you are in line to order, and further approach you - pretty aggressively - while waiting to pick up the order. As you might imagine smelly and creepy people. Inside the restaurant is the part difficult to understand or accept.

This BK is adjacent to the Santa Clara metrorail station, just at the entry to the Allapattah neighborhood in Miami - and near to a lot of Miami's restaurant providers - produce, equipment, wholesale bakeries, etc.

With a lot of Miami's finest and most elegant restaurants getting their products from this neighborhood it is incongruous that a BK is the only local "restaurant" in the neighborhood

The food here is typical, generally correct to BK norms.

Ordering a black coffee, the cup was brought to me half full, asking if it was okay to fill the rest with decaf as the regular coffee was"out".

Lousy neighborhood, and this franchise is weak getting operations...
