I had the pleasure of trying El Bori Latin food truck, and I must say it was an incredible culinary experience. The flavors were nothing short of amazing, and the authenticity of the dishes truly transported me to Latin America. The empanadas were perfectly crispy, and the Mofongo were filled with deliciousness. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. If you're looking for a taste of Latin cuisine that's both delicious and authentic, El Bori is the place to go. I can't wait to visit again and savor their mouthwatering dishes!

I give them one star, because I couldn't publish my "review" if I didn't. Otherwise, he didn't give them any. The WORST (supposed) "Tripleta sandwich" I've seen and tasted in my life. As Puerto Ricans, we have expectations and when we go to support a business that supposedly sells Puerto Rican food, we expect them to meet those expectations and this was not the case. I received a piece of bread soaked (rather drowned) in mayo/ketchup with no meat (if any, shreds of what I imagine was chicken) which was in no way edible. I don't know if this is the new version of this popular "sandwich". The truth is that I do not recommend it. Be very careful that all that glitters is not gold. And a lot of people put names to what they think it is, but it isn't.

I got the mofongo with carne frita, and it was EVERYTHING. The plantains were garlicky and soft on the inside, crispy on the outside—exactly how they should be. The pork was juicy, well-seasoned, and came with this garlicky broth that I wanted to drink like soup 😂. My friend ordered the tripleta sandwich and those layers of meat with the crunchy papitas and sauce? 10/10. We also shared some alcapurrias—crispy on the outside, flavorful meat inside, just like home.

Prices are super fair for the portions (you’ll leave full, trust me). They even had piononos which reminded me of something my abuela used to make. I didn’t expect to get emotional over street food, but here we are lol.

Authentic. If you’re ever in Miami and missing PR flavors or just want food that actually hits, El Bori...

Born and raised in Puerto Rico I'm reluctant of eating at places with puertorrican food in the US. In my opinion most of those places do not taste like the real thing. After eating at El Bori Food Truck I was able to FINALLY find a place that taste like the our food. Liliana (the chef) and the rest of the team treated me amazingly during my visit. Not only that, she explained me how they make everything from scratch and nothing is frozen. I tried La Tripleta and an Empanadilla de Pionono top with a Piña Colada. Food was amazing. If you're not sure what to eat believe me you won't go wrong with that combo. I'll make sure to visit the truck again during my next visit in...

This review is specifically for the alcapurria and the mofongo. Puertoricans know what a good alcapurria is supposed to taste like and this one, earned the "worst" ! It was not tasty and it was super oily which made it impossible to eat as there was so much oil dripping from the brown bag it was placed in. Nicely I got my money back, sadly I couldnt enjoy it:( BUT, their monfongo with garlic shrimp was very tasty and well presented. However, it only had 6-7 SMALL shrimps which for 20 dollars they could offer a better shrimp size. So, the 3 stars are for the mofongo with shrimp in...
