I ordered on Uber Eats a pastelito cake slice and a pavlova to send to my mother for her birthday, only for them to have substituted the cake slice with a completely different flavor and a milhojas, for which I’m guessing was a freebie for their mistake. I was NOT called or contacted from the bakery to confirm the substitution or given the option of cancelling the order. I am all the way in Georgia (hundreds of miles away from my mother), all I wanted was to do something special for her birthday while she was at work. I ordered from them specifically for the pastelito cake (because it has guava and my mother loves guava). I would have NEVER ordered here if they would have properly marked off that cake flavor from their selected uber eats menu. It’s incredibly unprofessional and crude to think because you add in a freebie of another miscellaneous item that it would make it okay. I don’t need free items, what I needed was what I ordered or communication and the right to have made the decision to proceed how I saw fit. I hate that my mother received two random items that she will not eat, it takes away from the gesture of having something sent chosen specifically for her. and YES, I received a refund for the slice, but AGAIN, money does not substitute the gesture of me having sent her something on her special day considering I am so far and am unable to celebrate the day with her. OH and FYI the phone number doesn’t work, I tried calling it SEVERAL time before...
Read moreNo words can describe how amazing this place is. Starting by the amazing customer service as soon as you come in. The baklava cheesecake is a 10/10 no questions asked. The balance of cheesecake and baklava is amazing. The banana pudding is top tier you can truly taste the freshness and quality. The celebration cake is huge and so tasty it’s moist. The passion fruit cake is amazing it’s the most perfect balance of passion fruit and cake and the frosting is white chocolate. Honestly will be here many times back.
Update: I went wanting to have the baklava cheesecake but unfortunately they were sold out. I was tempted to try the Keylime pie which I have never liked from anywhere else but it was mine blowing and completely changed my mind on Key lime pie. I love the Keylime pie from there it is such an amazing balance of sweet and tart one of my favorites to say the least. Sweet manifesto has changed my mind on almost every dessert and I will come back here 1 million times without a doubt. I also had their cookies and cream cookie which was amazing as well they...
Read moreI'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that all these positive reviews are real. I ordered the brookie and the creme brulee cheesecake. They were both BAD. The brownie part of the brookie was soggy and the chocolate chips tasted like cheap, generic chocolate chips bought in bulk. The cookie part of the brookie was strange. It didn't taste like a cookie to me; some kind of strange pastry. The top part of the creme brulee cheesecake was okay I suppose, but it's really thin and can't salvage the eggy, nasty taste of the cheesecake. I know cheesecake can have a pungent flavor but this was something else, and it left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth that wouldn't go away. Totally disappointed; would never order...
