I don’t think I’ve ever been in a tinnier restaurant. It’s like they took the concept of “intimate dining” and cranked it up to maximum coziness. But despite the size, they somehow manage to run a full kitchen, which is honestly impressive.
I came for the burger, and spoiler alert: it did not disappoint. But before I even got to that, I was greeted with one of my greatest joys in life—a biscuit with butter. And let me tell you, this wasn’t just any biscuit. The butter was so good, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were churning it in a closet somewhere like an old-school dairy artisan. It came served in a tiny, fancy butter dish with a lid, like it was too precious to be exposed to the elements. The biscuit itself? Think Red Lobster biscuit, but make it classier—less greasy, more fresh, and completely addicting.
For my starter, I had the Little Gems Salad, which was hands down the prettiest salad I’ve ever seen. I almost felt bad eating it, but that feeling lasted about five seconds because it was just as delicious as it looked.
Now, for the main event—the burger. Since I take burgers very seriously, there was no way I wasn’t ordering this. This is the kind of fancy place where you don’t even bother telling them how you want it cooked because they already know. They serve it at the chef’s perfect temperature, and you just sit there and trust the process. And trust me—it was everything I hoped for. Juicy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. I tried to swap out the fries for something else, but this place is way too fancy for substitutions, so it was fries or nothing. I went with nothing, which just meant more room for biscuits, so no complaints.
I also have to give a shout-out to the impeccable service. Not only were they attentive without being overbearing, but they replaced the silverware with every course—a detail that my OCD tendencies and love of cleanliness deeply appreciated. Miami has plenty of overpriced restaurants where you get meh food and even worse service, but this place delivers on both. The food was incredible, the staff was top-tier, and the entire experience was well worth the price.
Highly recommended—just don’t be surprised if you leave dreaming about...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Grand Central restaurant and it was an absolutely remarkable experience! From start to finish, this place exceeded all my expectations. The food, the service, and the ambiance were all exceptional, making it a perfect 10/10 experience.
The menu at Grand Central offers an array of delectable options, and I highly recommend trying a little bit of everything! To kick off our meal, we indulged in the muscle dish, salmon crudo, baked clams, and the little Gem wedges. Each starter was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Sharing these dishes with my group of 7 was a fantastic way to try a variety of flavors.
For the main course, I couldn't resist ordering the butchers cut with French fries. Let me tell you, it was a true masterpiece! The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Chef Nuno's attention to detail truly shines through in every bite. Lastly, the desserts at Grand Central were the perfect ending to an already incredible meal. The chocolate moose cake and the strawberry cheesecake were absolute delights. Each mouthful was pure bliss, leaving me wanting more.

Read moreFrom the moment we stepped through the door, we were transported to an unexpected place
Our server, Carol, was an absolute gem – attentive, knowledgeable, and always there with a smile and helpful suggestion.
The appetizers were a symphony of flavors and textures. The salmon crudo was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, the beef tartare a perfectly balanced combination of savory and delicate, and the baked clams burst with briny goodness.
But the star of the show was undoubtedly the prawn saffron risotto. The prawns were cooked to succulent perfection, the rice infused with the intoxicating aroma of saffron, and the creamy sauce a perfect accompaniment. It was a dish that lingered in our memories long after the last bite.
Dessert was a delightful conclusion. The rich, decadent chocolate cake was pure heaven, while the apple caramel ice cream offered a refreshing and playful contrast. Each spoonful was a celebration of culinary craftsmanship.
Beyond the exceptional food, it was Carol's, Crystal's and Nuno's dedication to making our experience special that truly set this place apart.
I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a true culinary...
