I came to this place with huge expectations, I have tried their profiterole once at a friend’s house, and been wanting to come for a while, I have to say I’m a little disappointed, because they weren’t as fresh as I was expecting, the chocolate tasted great, but the pastry wasn’t crispy enough and the profiteroles weren’t as fluffy as they should. The Opera is not the traditional opera I’m use to. The Nutella croissant is full of Nutella, a little soft but great taste. Parchita (pasión fruit) mouse was also good. Was nice in general but I think we came with way too high expectations and weren’t meet. I’d still give them a...

Profiteroles aren't fresh.

It's not even real profiteroles. Normally they would be in a bowl with thick but runny chocolate. Almost pudding style. It would also normally have a pastry cream or fresh cream.

Their profiteroles are completely different. First of all it's not in a bowl. It's sitting on a cookie or phyllo dough. The choux pastry is not fresh. It smells like a refrigerator. The chocolate on it is a very thick almost icing like consistency. The cream inside is also very thick and heavy. It's not giving you the fresh feeling.

Overall i wouldn't come here for misrepresented food and stale...

My husband and I got a chocolate cheesecake and an almond dessert. The chocolate cheesecake was a cheesecake with Hershey’s chocolate on top. The Graham cracker bottom was not Graham cracker, but a very sweet sponge cake. The entire dessert was painfully sweet, but with no refined flavors. The hersheys chocolate was strange to be on top and overwhelmed the whole thing. We each took one bite and then threw it away. The almond dessert was slightly better. Also, extremely sweet. Almond taste was heavy with almond extract. Also,...

La Suiza is a wonderful local café that combines great coffee with one of the best bakeries in town. They have a wide variety of brunch options, along with plenty of locally made sweets and pastries that are hard to resist. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax with friends, enjoy a slow breakfast, or grab something sweet to go. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good food, good coffee, and a warm atmosphere.
