Las Cubanitas — Restaurant in Miami

I ordered a single pizza and a couple of ice cream ball to go. Not only I ended up paying almost $20 for this order, I was charged an extra surcharge fee for using my debit card, when doing so in Florida is completely illegal. Now let us go to the food itself. The pizza was nothing more that a cheese bread, soaked in grease and no flavor whatsoever. The ice cream melt before I got to leave the store. It goes without saying that this was my last visit to this place. I have tried La Cubanita in Hialeah and the food was awesome. Maybe they are from different owners but it is a shame to call this...

Since I've never tried an authentic Cuban pizza even though I've been living in Miami, we decided to try it on Saturday afternoon for lunch.

We ordered a Napolitana pizza and a Bacon pizza. The pizza was a fluffy deep dish crust, and it had a thin layer of pizza sauce and a ton of cheese! A personal size pizza definitely fills one adult up.

Other menu items such as pasta and lasagna looked so good, so we'd like to go back for other menus including desserts.

Before you visit this place, I recommend you to check if you have cash so that you get 3.75% off...

My bad review is for the food. The People who works here are nice. But the “Cuban” pizza I ordered is not a Cuban pizza at all. Tampa’s Cuban pizza is better than this place. Also the pizza has no red sauce just the bread and cheese. We also tried the steak sandwich and thing about the Cuban steak is that it’s made with onions. This steak has non of that. No flavor.
