Papa G's Pizza Express — Restaurant in Miami

Not exactly sure how they are getting the ratings I'm seeing but this place is mediocre at best. The two large pizzas I ordered were just average. Now, the calzones ordered were just gross. The meat was past it's expiration date for sure & I'm not sure what kind of sauce that was used inside but Please stop! It's sour & has no place in a calzone. The cheeses used were fantastic & the dough was also very good. I will say that. Also, I usually get some kind of marinara sauce for dipping but not here. Bummed, but knowing that I'll probably never return to this town, it won't be a problem. I probably should remove the 3rd star but the gentleman who helped us was nice & gave me a couple drinks on the house. The most welcoming and friendly restaurant I may have ever been to. Amazing service and amazing pizza. Cheeseburger pizza with the fluffiest, most golden crisp crust you can imagine, perfection! We're just a few out of towers looking for a quick bite to eat.......before we even left the parking lot we decided to make this place a new tradition when traveling through this area! Excuse the half eaten review picture LOL. We always get the traditional stromboli and the Big G stromboli with 4 alpine sauces. The owner is extremely nice, the food is always consistent, it is cash only so come prepared, no wait I have found so far, prices are priced just right.
