Miles Parker Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Michigan City

Okay, so I had my suspicions, and while I don't follow social media, maybe even as a local I was just out of the loop. Pretty confident it is just rebranded Barker Pub. Which isn't wrong in its own right, however. Barker Pub was always the one place that had a club sandwich that, in my own opinion, was crafted by someone who didn't quite get the memo on what a club sandwich is. So, when ordering from "Miles Parker" I made the assumption that when I ordered a club sandwich, I was going to get what I typically picture. No, I just got a rebranded club sandwich made using the Barker Pub formula. My disappointment lies in the fact that I was under the impression I was ordering something from a new place, but instead got the same thing that I didn't like before, with a different name. I had just came in with my family. We ordered our food. It Took about an hour and a half just to get our food served. my family got their food, but it took them so much longer to get my food, it took so long that I just decided to box my food up because I have to work the next day; I’m just tired. so the service was very very poor. I will not be going there again but the food there is fabulous, that is one and one only positive thing I can say about the restaurant. I was blessed that my order was taken off so I had a free meal. Bartender and jori were very sweet about it and apologized. I work in retail so I understand completely so I was not mad at the employees. This place has gone through more shifting of owners than I have gone through cans of Coke. I was there when they were under management by this Stacy broad. What a bimbo she was! My feelings are that if you know nothing about managing a restaurant, bar or whatever you should find a new line of work. The actual owner would just pop in whenever he felt like and also had no knowledge on how to run a restaurant/bar. Don’t get me started on the menu. Hopefully it’s better now and under new ownership and management because the last 2 owners steered it right into almost going out if business.
