My brother recommended this place to me so I was excited to try it. I was sorely disappointed. The lady handling the check out had a bad attitude and is not friendly at all. The lady serving the food was nice and handled my order with a smile. I asked for two meals and to my dismay, they did not have it so I settled for the oxtail meal. It was a 5/10. The meal did not include oxtail gravy which was highly disappointing. The veggies weren’t good. The rice was okay and the oxtail itself was okay. I was very underwhelmed with my experience going here. I also ordered a soup and a potato salad on the side. The soup was a 6/10 and the potato salad was a 7/10. Visited for the first time. They only serve certain dishes on certain days, i.e, soup and pasta. I requested $10 worth of chicken and received a small 3 pcs chicken. Chicken was overly seasoned. I also ordered curry goat with rice and peas, plantains, and cabbage. I requested extra gravy. Didn’t receive much. Overall, the food was ok. FINALLY, some culture in E. Stroudsburg. The atmosphere is great, the food hands down is the best in the surrounding area, and the service is fantastic.
