Price Chopper — Local services in Middle Smithfield Township

On August 13, 2025, I visited the East Stroudsburg Price Chopper to purchase several items and was WOWED by your employee Collin. While looking for coleslaw for my granddaughter who is pregnant and graving for such, there was only the large one available. While waiting for my order of cold cuts, I see Collin bringing merchandise from the back. I excused myself and asked him do you have the small Coleslaw as my granddaughter is expecting and is very much craving for it. Collin smiled and said let me go check his body language showed very much that he cared. Here comes my angel to the rescue with a carton of coleslaw and a wow of a smile on his face. I said OMG you are an angel. He gave me a coleslaw from the box with a smile I thanked him. What WOWED me was that he responded " I hope that she enjoys it".. His great customer service skills, eye contact, demeanor and body language mannerism are impecable. I wished that i had employees like Collin on my team. He is an employee that i see going places. I just went to buy,2lb.muzzarela cheese and 5lh low salt ham.this people working at the deli do not care about costumes.The lady was slicing for our side and I was waiting for 6 minutes ,she ask to finish what she had.she never taking care me.So I went fishing my shopping,when I came back ,she was still cutting something.so I asked her,if have more helpers, because I needed help .she told me to wait again and started be very rude with me. Well I could not buy nothing, because nobody could be available to me.I just want to say to the OWNER,your employees must understand the costumes are first,no matter their skin color,if is white,black,Asian, Mexicans, Brazilian,all the people that shop from you,are costumes,the money that they pay to shopping in your store still is the same and the most important,your employees have job , because we shopping from you .other wise they do not have job.NO costumes,NO job people.as owner you are...

This place has an undeserved bad reputation. Everyone I know is always saying they avoid price chopper because they feel that the prices are too high. Let me tell you what- I stopped in to just pick up some ice cream on our way home. Walking through the store ( because, of course, what I wanted was all the way in the other side of the store) I noticed several of the products I am constantly buying ie: water, coffee, bread, certain cereals etc. were ALL PRICED LOWER than what I've been paying at their "cheaper " competitors. Price Chopper now has a new steady customer. Way to go, people don't listen to the high priced rumors, go in and check it out for yourself. You'll be as amazed as I was.
