Update 5/10/2025 Its been awhile since my last visit. Im in the area with my youngest son who is both a Chef and Pastry chef and I wanted to share my experience of this restaurant with him. Again this place did not disappoint. My son was amazed on the quality of the food, the balance of flavors and how the coffee so flavorful, rich and not acidic. Our waitress who i believe is the daughter of the owner remembered me from my last visit a year ago which made me feel a bit special. The food was fresh and flavorful. Just another amazing experience. My youngest son said this was his first experience with Columbian food and he is ready to try more. If you dont mind cilantro they have a fresh hot sauce that is cilantro based that is just delicious. It tastes just like a sofrito i make but with a kick and with a bit more creamy consistency. You can buy it there.. i bought some last visit and used it in my rice and gondules and it ended up being the best rice and gondules ive made to date. Again great job. I love this place. If you are in the area give it a try.

This place never disappoints, at least for me. I took my dad there for the first time today and he was blown away. The food was fresh and flavorful, I ended up eating the whole plate full. The Columbian coffee was so smooth I did not need sugar. The Staff was amazing. With me being a foodie and both my sons are chefs, the owner was more than happy to talk with us. She explained how they bring in products from a far so everything made will be authentic as if it came from Columbia. For the the best part is that the restaurant is small and kind of out of the way with a nice atmosphere inside. The restaurant is easy to spot but quick to pass by. I highly recommend stopping and giving them a try. Great job pocono cafe and...

Wish I could give this place more stars ⭐️ but unfortunately my visit was not as great as many others . Let’s start with my group of 12 walking in & asking if their was a table available inside the restaurant & the lady who recieved us at the front shoving me with 12 menus & told me “NO son muchos y tiene que hacerse afuera” okay up to there I was okay & well understood we were alot . Then my aunt who was visiting from Montana (mind you she is the most calm lady ever) asked her after 10 min waiting outside & a bee over everyone if we needed to order inside. The rude lady answered her back in a very rude way “YOU JUST GOT HERE & YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR DRINK ORDER” okay But the question was if we had to go inside & order ? Then a group of people came out so my mom went in to ask if it was possible to get a table inside being that a group had left . The RUDE BLONDE LADY SAID “ I DONT HAVE TIME TO GET YOU A TABLE TOGETHER!! that was it my mom came out furious & I decided that it was time to go then the lady I guess thought over what she had just said & came out to tell us to come in at that point I was mad & my kids were hungry I wasn’t going to keep being screamed at or my family be yelled at my this lady who CLEARLY DOESNT KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS! not my first time in a restaurant so I know how it works . This lady who spoke Spanish but was not COLOMBIAN! Needs to learn how to communicate & be nicer to customers ! Unfortunately the only Colombian spot is not worth going to in the Poconos! Sucked but whatever we ended up heading back home(queens ny) & eating in a REAL Colombian restaurant who is tan by REAL Colombians & overall knows how to treat customers ! Thank you for coming to my...

I stopped in this place after driving 233 miles looking at homes in the area with a realtor. I stopped in because I wanted to see what latino cuisine was as good there at bush kills as it is in my area back in nj.

Hate to say ,but I was not impressed. I ordered something light since I wanted to get back on the road and have the remaining portion of my order at home in front of the tellie.

The young lady "Gina" was very sweet, but extremely confusing. I ordered a total of 6 empanada 3 chicken, and 3 beef, and told her that I would like to have a couple while I was there, so I ordered a coke in the can and a glass of ice.

The cook was working on the beef empanada, while I had the chicken. One of the chicken empanada was so dry. I sware it had to be about 2 or 3 days old.

Also they were quite small and I never really tell what the waitress told me I was paying for them.

At one point I heard $2 ,then I see that 3 was $4.80 since I received 6 total. My bill should have been about $11.10 with the 12 oz coke another $ 1.50 my bill now should be $12.60

I ordered a single piece of flan to take home and got a finale bill totaled $25 with an 18% tip that I left for the sweet girl.

By the time I got home. I discovered the best part of the flan spilled out of the container and it wasn't as tasty as I had hoped.

I happen to make this mistake much to often. Not paying attention to what I'm charged and going into places on whim.

Well I wasn't to impressed with the homes I looked at so it's very likely I will not be visiting...

We visited this quaint cafe to sample their epicurean delights. I ordered a half rack of beef ribs which came with white rice and beans and a side salad with a light dressing. My husband tried the Shrimp with garlic sauce that I also sampled that had the most delightfully delectable sauce unlike any I have ever tasted. Both of us found this cafe a delightful way to spend a rainy day to eat dinner. The prices are very easy on the pocketbook and I can't wait to return and sample their breakfast menu on a return trip. The views here are of old world style, piped in music is relaxing and we sat by the fireplace which only adds to their atmosphere. I took home some their pastries from the bakery all of which are gigantic in size compared to most places we have visited. I walked away with a fair sampling of all my favorites. Elephant ears, pineapple and apple turnovers and we will eat eat them later as we were full with the dinner menu. Try them soon you won't be disappointed. They also have a takeout menu and offer a wide assortment of beverages. They also have free Wifi.

We fall in love with the area, so convenient for us not even 2 hours drive away from LIC. We love the mountains, the saw creek community and the activities all year fun! The only weak spot was for us the restaurants. So we know; as NYC resident we are really food snobes, Never satisfied with anything and and and etc... so you take that multiply by the fact that I am French and it makes it 10 times worse. We were always wondering driving on 209 about a really cute spot full of flowers and with a big sign LATIN CUISINE! So pretty unconventional for the area? So we tried for lunch with absolutely no expectation and our kinda were blown away! The columbian food is terrific, the prices are ridiculously cheap (again NYC) and it is run by a lovely family from Flushing Queens. So good news: you can eat wonderfully in Bushkill really simple and affordable with outdoor sitting. We came 3 times in 3 days and we even challenged them on their paella and it was a hit! Good news for me I don't need to come up with all my cooking stuff in order to survive the Poconos wildness!
