My gf and I were camping nearby for the weekend and decided to try a local coffee shop before heading back to our hometown. We love trying local coffee places anywhere we go and were immediately impressed when we walked in to friendly staff waiting to take our order. They seemed very open to any questions we had and made us feel comfortable.
I had the plain bagel with cream cheese and she had a blueberry muffin. Both were absolutely delicious! The bagel was fresh and almost the size of a NJ bagel, but maybe not as fluffy as some that I've had. The muffin was equally as fresh and tasted great(not too sugary tasting seemed like a good balance of sugar).
The atmosphere from someone out of town seemed like the area could use some TLC, but overall was your typical plaza. Plenty of parking across the lot and right next to a Sunoco, but just hidden enough off the road where you might miss it. The inside was pleasantly clean and had a pretty modern...
Read moreHeard a lot of really good things about this fairly new spot so I decided to stop in. It is a coffee based business that also has breakfast sandwiches. I had already had coffee this morning so I opted out of that, but maybe will go back and try some later on.
The breakfast sandwich wasn't great unfortunately. The eggs are either pre-cooked patties or they're being cooked in this turbo chef style countertop convection/toaster oven. They tasted fake. The pork roll didn't have a chance to get any char on it for the same reason. I'd suggest getting a small flattop, even one of the electric griddles people use in their homes seems like it would be enough to handle the business there, and do their eggs and meats that way. I will say there was a good amount of pork roll on this though.
They were very nice people, and I hope they succeed, I just can't get another sandwich from there if that is how they continue...
Read moreMaybe it was a one off but I didn't like my experience here as much as other people did. Staff was friendly and courteous, 5 stars there.
Bagel was good but for the price and amount of food received, I would've went somewhere else. 3 stars.
The tea, was absolutely awful. I ordered the biggest size they carried. I'm not sure if the water was so hot that it melted something, but it tasted like the smell of ammonia which is the best way I could describe it. I left my lid open on the tea while eating the bagel, which should've cooled down enough by the time I left to drink, but it did not. I'm quite familiar with the brand of tea they used, and it's absolutely NOT supposed to taste like that. Since it was so hot, I couldn't even drink it there. When I was finally able to sip it after I left, I was already too far from there to make any complaints. I ended up dumping it all out at my next...
