We are frequent customers of your restaurant and often stop by when visiting Bushkill, PA multiple times a year. In the past, we’ve truly enjoyed your food—especially your egg fried rice, which has always been flavorful and satisfying.
However, during our most recent visit on June 28, we ordered three egg fried rice takeout boxes and were very disappointed with the quality. Each box appeared to contain barely a single piece of egg, and the rice was mixed with a few large, frozen vegetables (such as broccoli) that didn’t seem consistent with what you’ve served in the past. The rice itself tasted more like plain white rice rather than the Thai-style fried rice we were expecting, and overall, it felt like the dish was rushed or not prepared with the usual care.
We paid $44.22 for the three boxes. While we don’t mind paying that amount when the food meets your usual standards, this time the experience fell far short of expectations. Unfortunately, we had no other food at home and had already driven 20 minutes to pick it up, so we didn’t return or call to complain at the time. But we felt it was important to reach out afterward and let you know, as we’ve always valued the quality of your food and service.
We sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, and that takeout customers will receive the same level of care and quality as dine-in guests. We understand economic conditions can be tough, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of lowering food quality or consistency. We’re sharing this feedback in good faith and hope it helps maintain the high standards that originally made us loyal customers.

Read moreI wanted to like the place. Had high hopes with the good reviews. But I am not sure how it has all of the good reviews it does. I will say nothing here is BAD. Just nothing is very good. First we were greeted by just a very unenthusiastic owner I assume. The atmosphere is quite blah. Like a run down diner.
We got the curry puffs. They are a sad excuse for curry puffs. Almost no curry flavor. The shell is not very crunchy. And it has peas, corn, and carrots inside. Looks like they just used a pea/carrot/corn frozen veggie mix with potatoes in it and maybe the prepackaged curry powder. Corn is about as unauthentic as it could get and really ruined them.
My husband's pineapple fried rice was good. His satay was good but the peanut sauce wasn't quite right.
However the pad Thai really wasn't pad Thai at all. It was as if it was made with sweet and sour sauce. It was reddish with none of that complexity of flavor you want. And also no fish sauce taste. Which is why my husband who hates fish sauce managed to actually eat it. I however wanted the flavors I was craving. The bean sprouts also appeared to be quite past their prime (the leaves were brown). I knew how it would be though based on there being no limes available. They served the pad Thai with lemon slices and it was just not right. The noodles were fine. But it wasn't pad Thai. Overall it filled us up but it...
Read moreIn the realm of Thai delights, my journey led me to a haven of flavors and quirks. The drunken noodles, a gustatory expedition that found its way to my palate, stirred an acceptable response, marked by the courteous allowance to extract the contentious carrots.
An interesting conundrum unfolded as the elixir of life, water, flirted with pecuniary implications, but the benevolence of tap salvation prevailed. Initial skepticism arose from the host's mirthful, sizable demeanor, reminiscent of Italian charisma rather than Thai grace. However, the culinary maestro, the true arbiter of authenticity, emerged bearing my gastronomic desires.
In the symphony of tastes, my discerning palate yearned for an encore—a crescendo of flavor, an abundance of fresh herbs, and a verdant embrace of broccoli, perhaps the regal Chinese variety. The inebriated noodles, though satisfactory, craved an extra deluge of saucy indulgence.
Yet, amid these gustatory musings, the cosmic alignment of five or six fly amanita figurines adorned the restaurant's exterior—an unexpected homage to nature's crimson marvels. This unforeseen delight transcended the culinary experience, prompting a five-star ascent on the rating scale.
With the echo of mushrooms dancing in my mind, I proclaim my intent to return, for in the dance of flavors and the presence of fly amanitas, this Thai enclave beckons for...
