Zoup!

This is the only Zoup location near enough that I can grab lunch from during my workday. And unfortunately, I wish it would just close, because it always seems like a great idea (we love Zoup!) but it's always a let down.

Today was the last shot for this location and I mean that in the least Karen-esque way possible. The broccoli cheddar soup today was so thick and oily that it is clear it was overcooked; either by sitting too long, being a carry over product from the night before, or just sitting too hot. My child wouldn't eat more than a few bites. The italian wedding soup was so salty that I couldn't get past the first few bites either. The only thing that was really delicious was the Chili.

The staff are lovely, truly. They're pleasant, polite, and they do the best they can with what they're provided. But it is very clear that this location doesn't invest enough in it's business to provide good product. Which makes it even more difficult on itself as it's not on the main drag and definitely on the section of road where good restaurants go to die. I'll wait for the next time I'm near the Independence - Rockside location.
