Raising Cane’s — Restaurant in Middleburg Heights

It’s so crazy to me that on multiple occasions I’ve came to this location and went to the drive thru to just be completely ignored by the workers.

Today being the 4th or 5th time this has happen here (9pm). There drive thru has two lanes to take your order just like many many other fast food restaurants.

I pull around to the drive thru and go to the second one because there is one car at the first one. As I’m waiting 2 cars pull around and one goes behind the first car at the first lane and one pulls behind me at the second lane.

They take the first person order and then completely ignore me and start taking the other cars order that was behind the first person.

I thought for sure they would take my order after that. No another car was behind them and pulls around and I hear them say hello and ask what they would like. At that point I said “Hello??” Nobody answers and the proceed to take there order. So now three cars orders have been taken and not anyone in the second line. Absolutely ridiculous. I say “HELLLLLLOOO” “ you’ve taken three peoples orders and are ignoring this drive thru”

His response was “oh sorry about that our mic turns off sometimes” ……….. which is the same response I’ve gotten in the past. ………..

Raising Canes and every other single fast food restaurant have a tv or a screen above where you are at taking order. I pull up to the window. Sure enough a tv with both drive thru above there heads and you can see all the cars. They can 100% see every car in the drive thru and chose to ignore. Not once. Not twice. Not three times but 4 TIMES AT THIS LOCATION.

Blatantly ignoring customers at this location should...

What I wouldn't do for them to have gluten free options. Sadly I think their fries may be co-fried and have cross contamination. BUT the staff is always nice. The food is really really good (my husband and kids love it). They have a light so they are easy to get in and out of. I'd eat there all the time if I could, it smells so good. But they also have some of the best tea! And their lemonade is pretty good.

UPDATE: today I stopped by to pick up my husband lunch and got myself a Coke since I have a headache and I was hoping the caffeine would help. I pull away from the driveway and take a sip and it is diet Coke. I turn around and park, go inside and let them know. They were completely apologetic and immediately got me a new one. I walked away minutes everything was resolved. I appreciate the manager not even hesitating to look. Not many...

Very regular customer and have always had a good experience, but today I was met with flat out negligence. Made an online order, said pickup was in 4 minutes, fast as usual. I get there in 5, no order, ok whatever. Cashier takes a customer, another customer, another customer and at this point I’m eyeing up a box combo on the countertop. Cashier awkwardly oblivious to the world, is just taking orders. I ended up standing AT the counter looking at her waiting for her to glance in any direction but straight, stood there for 15 minutes (now total of 20) until a 2nd employee came around, realized what was going on and very swiftly got me out the door. Will be returning but really hope that sort of customer ignoring gets handled, it was definitely unusually for this usually great...
