I do not usually like to leave these types of reviews, as I am not picky when it comes to restaurants; as long as the service is adequate and the food serviceable, I have no complaints. However, this is perhaps the worst fast food experience I have ever had, bar none. Upon walking into the store, my parents and I were greeted by the sounds of two employees arguing, shouting expletives at each other to the point that I thought a fight was going to break out. As I would later learn, one of these individuals was the manager. This, obviously, made my family and I rather anxious, just like it would any normal person. Regardless, we went to the kiosk and started to place our order.
As I came to find out, this would only be the beginning of our experience. A few minutes after this, the manager then proceeded to bring out the employee to the middle of the restaurant (right next to the kiosks) and berated him in front of the customers; this occurred when I was placing my order. The manager then came up to US and directly asked us for our opinions. Upon us stating that their yelling was making us anxious, and asking them to please speak outside, the manager then turned his attention to us, yelling at us to leave his restaurant and threatening to call the police on us at the sound of any protest on our part. As soon as we said something that he did not agree with, he treated us no better than the employee that he was berating only minutes ago. The three of us were notably anxious, with my mother's hands visibly shaking the entire time.
My family requested a refund and immediately left the store, with him still making comments at us on the way out. We decided to go to Olive Garden, where we knew the employees would treat us with basic respect and dignity.
The only positive of this experience came in the form of a shorter female employee with glasses, who refunded us and appeared to be sympathetic to our situation. This is without a shadow of a doubt the worst experience that I have had at any restaurant, and I believe that this manager is not only woefully unsuitable for his position, but is furthermore a hazard and a danger to his customers and fellow employees.
If you see a Caucasian bearded man in his twenties, about 6'0 and hear him in the kitchen, please do yourself a favor and walk out. Give the position of manager to the kind woman who helped us, as she was the only one there who I felt treated us with an inkling of respect. I will most likely be escalating this, as I believe this service is unacceptable at any restaurant. This is probably the last time that I will eat at a McDonald's in the...
Read moreUpdate I truly hate this place and don't know why I subject myself to its BS. Today, I was in a hurry and ordered a large coffee on the app, I told the app I was already there so I could grab and go. I arrived 12 minutes later and surprise, no coffee. I stood there as the employees struggled to turn orders. Finally, someone asked if I ordered the large coffee. I said yes and they said, "can I just give you a medium, we ran out of large cups yesterday". I said that's fine but then asked if I could have two smalls or a small and a medium since I already paid and was in a rush, she was going to "see what she could do". She came back, handed me the medium and said they were all the same price. I took the cup and left. Mcdonald's failure to stock inventory or cups isn't really a ME problem. They should take it off the app if they don't have the items. Simple. I shouldn't subject myself to the nonsense here, they simply DO NOT CARE.
I've gone here a few times and have tried to look past the poor attitude of select employees. After multiple negative interactions with the older, short, red haired woman, I cannot hold back.
Look I get it, you are probably dealing with people in a hurry and get overwhelmed but you should at least try to be helpful. I have seen this employee overwhelmed and literally shut down on multiple occasions causing back ups and having coworkers step in.
Today, I was trying to place and order on the app and my location wouldn't load to the correct establishment. I walked in and asked if there was a manual way to order (since I was now in person) or if they had a work around when she approached the counter. She said "I don't know anything about the app", turned and walked away. I left without even placing an order.
It really wasn't busy, maybe one or two cars in the drive through and no one in the restaurant. If you don't know how to help a customer, maybe try or ask someone else if they know. I wouldn't have expected to leave with nothing but she literally walked away from me standing at the counter. Oh well, Wendy's is just up the street and...
Read moreI never write reviews, but this was such a bad experience I thought maybe someone would find it comical to read. My brother and I went to this McDonald’s and we went through the drive thru to pick up both our mobile orders. They ended up giving us only one bag. So we proceeded to go back through the drive-through and we talked to the person on the speaker about how we were missing a bag and we were just coming back to pick it up. There was no animosity and nobody was angry. It was just, a mistake. After giving the person on the speaker, our name and the order that was misplaced, it went radio silence for about 15 minutes. We proceeded to listen to some Drake to pass the time by as my brother and I decided that we weren’t gonna just get ghosted for the food that they didn’t give us. Eventually, there were cars behind us so we didn’t wanna waste the time of the people behind us so we just decided to go pull up to the pay here section to speak to the attendant there. I think her name was Janine and she was clearly on edge because she knew that nobody decided to give us any direction and ghosted us on the speaker so she couldn’t even look at me in the eyes stay at the window without moving around until our car pulled away. I thought this was kind of weird and a little bit funny. Afterwards we finally pulled up to “the pick up order here”section where we told them our problem and the lady basically accused us of stealing a bag. Needless to say this bag only had a McChicken and six nuggets, so there was no chance we were stealing about four dollars worth of food. Anyway, they then didn’t give us our food and just told us to go sit in spot 1 and someone will bring it out. Eventually someone did bring out the food and it was the wrong order. After all that we finally went in cause we were in too deep and were leaving without our food at this point. We finally got the right order, and my brother and I made a pact that we will now drive the extra 2 miles to another McDonald’s rather than deal with these...
