We went here about a month or so ago and we thought about going again today because to be honest the food was quite delicious and we really liked our Hibachi chef he was nice. They didn't do as much as like A-1 and Arirang for the show and he missed our mouths every single time but it was kind of funny and he engaged with our son a lot so we still liked him, plus the dressing is delicious but beyond that the service was terrible. We kept having to look around for somebody to refill our drinks or if something was forgotten, it took forever to get the check etc. They kept forgetting things and the sodas were all flat and watered down. On top of that we had a party of 8, 4 of us ordered Shirley temples which is sprite with grenadine, they said the refills were free for sodas. When the bill came there was nine separate charges for Shirley Temple's because they charged us for each refill and he said it wasn't considered soda because they put grenadine in it even though when I asked if they do that and ask right afterwards if the refills were free he said soda refills are free. This has never happened anywhere else they are always considered a soda it's just like adding grenadine to your Dr pepper or Pepsi to make it cherry. I asked if he could fix it and he refused. He looked to be a manager an older man who seemed to be telling people what to do. To be honest it was severely disappointing because I was going to make this our new go to Hibachi and Sushi place. We go at least once a month but the service was so awful. We're thinking about giving it another try possibly today even but we'll see I'll update on how it goes if we do decide to go.The food was good but the service made it a bad experience, that as of now I cannot recommend. I understand that there's off days and maybe it was just not a very good employee working, or short staffed or something which is why I'm considering giving it another shot but as of right now two stars is all I...
Read moreFirst time dining in. I have been to many hibachi, Japanese restaurants before. I wanted a chicken tempura avocado roll. When I told the server I had a shellfish allergy she asked me, "then why did you come here to eat" and chuckled at me. I asked if they could cut the sushi with a different knife. She told me no, its only 1 knife. Then she told me not to order the chicken tempure bc it will be cross contaminated. I appreciate her being honest. I settled with fried rice because she told me it would bc safe, not to worry. My fried rice had an odor or fish tank 🤢. I took a few bites and my face got itchy.
I know people say, why eat there if you have an allergy, but that is unacceptable. No, I wouldn't go to a straight fish house for myself, but when dining with a group a restaurant should be able to accommodatein some way. Also how is it acceptable to use the same knife for raw and cooked foods???This place is just pure laziness. They dont even want to try. The water is gross too. It wasn't busy in there at 6pm on a Saturday and...
Read moreNothing special. I prefer A1 Japanese Steakhouse but today we decided to try something new and it didn’t meet our expectations. To begin, it was too much waiting. We had to wait a while to place our drink orders and actually getting them. As for the food wait, we ordered about 30 minutes before they came out to cook which is long because hibachi usually is a quick service; you order, they come out and cook, but this took forever. We came in at 7:30 and got out by 9:15pm. As our dinner went on the people weren’t as attentive and getting refills was too much of a hassle because they weren’t around. But as for the taste, my dish (chicken, calamari & rice) was pretty bland and overall not worth the money; sushi was good though. Lastly, gratuity is included which isn’t an issue at all but the service wasn’t up to par with the tip. If they want good tip they should give good service, otherwise they’re just getting tips for no reason. Wasn’t a terrible experience but definitely wouldn’t...
