I recently switched to T Mobile from another company. I called and employee Omar answered the phone. He claimed that I could walk out with a phone and only pay $70 a month with everything included. When I got there, he even threw in a watch, he insisted that it was free with the phone. Then my monthly bill came. It was over $100! I called customer service first and they said everything different than what Omar the employee told me and said I was even being charged monthly for the watch that I didn't even ask for! I went to the store to straighten it out and Omar the employee lied to my face about what he said when he first signed me up and even began to talk loud over me and try to interrogate me. I even brought my witness who was there when I first signed up to reiterate what Omar the employee said when I first received the phone. I asked him why I was being charged for the watch that he threw in there and said it was a "promotional gift" and was free. He then ran to the back instead of dealing with the issue and another employee named Ryan had to solve the problem that Omar really was responsible for. (Ryan was very professional and indeed solved the problem). I was satisfied with the results but because of how Omar poorly reacted to the issue, I...
Read moreAvoid this Store – Deceptive Practices. This location is not a true T-Mobile store but an authorized retailer that uses unethical sales tactics to boost their commissions. I visited to add a single line to my T-Mobile account, but they attempted to add a second line without my consent, forcing me to cancel it minutes later. To make matters worse, they added a “protection plan” to the new line without my knowledge or approval. This resulted in a $30 recurring monthly charge that I only discovered when my bill was unexpectedly higher. I don’t have protection plans on my other lines, and they never mentioned this plan during my visit. It also wasn’t included in the one-page paperwork they provided. When I contacted T-Mobile customer service, they removed the charge for future bills but couldn’t refund the initial charge, as it came down to my word against the store’s. Avoid this retailer at all costs. If you need assistance, go to a corporate T-Mobile store or handle changes directly with T-Mobile’s online or phone support to avoid being subjected to these...
