Poke Bros. — Restaurant in Middletown Township

Generally I have a pretty good experience at these places. The one in Cinnaminson is stellar. This one could use some more work. Ordered ahead of time and arrived when the order was supposed to be ready only to find they had not even started. I can understand if the restaurant was busy but I was the only one there and they were not preparing any other orders. They just didn’t bother to look at the order screen.

Competence aside, the food was ok but the rice needed to be cooked a bit more and the chicken was at least a day old. Did not taste the way it normally does.

Would shy away from this locale until they bring it...

Yes! I’m from CA and miss poke shops so much. Very happy to have one nearby again. Fish and all ingredients are super fresh. Great sauces and solid portions.

I inhaled half the bowl before I remembered to take a pic.

(Would love if the krab was krab salad instead of stick - but I think this is an East vs West coast preference, since even sushi places all use stick out here. Also, if they ever decide to add a lemon aioli I will bathe in it lol).

Ordered (through Grubhub) a build-your-own Half-Half bowl with salmon and ahi tuna. Everything was so fresh—the fish and the toppings were crunchy, and the portion size was great as well. I also ordered mochi for dessert, and they were delicious. It took the driver less than 5 minutes to pick up my order.
