I dropped off two rolls of film for developing after dusting off my old Canon A-1. I walked in a week later to pick them up and was told “Both of your rolls were blank”. I said that’s impossible I’ve used the camera before and it works fine. “Well there was a problem with the machine but it’s fixed now”. (He should have told me right off the bat my machine had a problem and your film was ruined, not “your rolls were blank”. He should have called me when it happened, not wait for me to show up expecting my pictures. He wasn’t very apologetic, and I blew it off at the time as good thing it wasn’t anything important. I left with the two replacement rolls he gave me. I called the next day to ask him how did BOTH rolls of film get ruined? Now the truth comes out, “the machine develops two rolls at a time.... I pushed the wrong button for the chemical because I don’t develop alot of film and they were ruined”. He started to get an attitude, “anything else?” , and then had the nerve to say ..... wait for it...... “FILM ISN'T VERY IMPORTANT TO ME”. Unbelievable that he gave me a “so what” attitude after ruining my film. What a...

He told me that my pictures had scratches in them due to my faulty camera when I knew it wasn’t true. Later I confirmed by scanning my own photos that his scans had pieces of hair in them. He acted like the rudest know it all ever when I simply asked what the scratches could be. Not only this, I only purchased digital copies and he insisted that over the phone I told him to make prints and add a CD. He was talking over me and talking down to me the ENTIRE conversation and I cried the whole way home. Never had a worse experience with customer service in my life....

After he started to help us, he talked back to my poor mother who’s far more educated than he: “you’re not paying attention to what I’m saying”; “listen to me”; etc. But in reality, he didn’t help much. He just threw a bunch of prospective Christmas cards on the table, and then sauntered off. I get it: I’d be depressed too if I had to put up with annoying customers all day. Maybe he wanted to do something different with his life. Still, none of this justifies...
