I wish I could report better but it was bad from the start. First time out in a while because of the pandemic and we requested to sit in an emptier area. There was a large section in plain view of about 8 or 9 tables just far enough away and that seemed perfect. We were told they didn't have enough help to seat us in that section. We were told we could wait for another table to leave or be seated one table away from where we were standing. She even went to ask the manager if the forbidden section was possible and the manager evidently reinforced that it was an impossiblility to sit at those empty tables which are about one foot away from the tables deemed fine to sit at. We were hungry and had our toddler son was with us so we sat in the more crowded section at the only available booth. The hostess brought my son a coloring menu but no crayons and our request for a booster seat was forgotten. My parents joined us and our waitress came and asked to take our drinks order. She was very young and didn't have much experience and it was evident. We asked if we could put our food order in at the same time and it took a moment for it to register with her that there was a toddler there and we might not want to make it a long meal. Just after she left our table the forbidden tables started to fill up. The same we weren't allowed to sit at a few minutes earlier. Nice.. Time went by and still no booster seat and the crayons arrived later, mid meal. Food finally arrived and was fine. Normal, at least. Over an hour and a half later our son was squirmy and tired and we fled leaving my parents to to pay. Sit customers in that section over there if they ask. Old people and parents of kids aren't going to be any trouble but have some common sense. . This policy has always struck me as dumb. Even more stupid during a pandemic. Second, notice toddlers and know the parents don't want to wait around forever for STICKY booster seats or crayons. Lastly, the creamery needs to bump up their salaries. It's clear that staff is hard to find but if you pay a little better you could find some older, more experienced staff. Or at least better managers. Not...
Read moreThe older woman in a red shirt working at 10:30am on Saturday 8/16 needs to be retrained in hospitality ASAP-she is the reason you lost a new customer before I even tasted your food. I placed an online order, received a notification it was ready, and showed up well after that, a full 40 min after ordering. When I arrived, I was not greeted with any sort of hello or welcome, but rather an aggressive and annoyed “did you please an online order?????” To which I responded yes and was told “well you’re going to have to wait because we got really busy” to which I replied “ok I was told my order was ready is that not the case?” and the worker, with as much hostility as she could muster, said “I understand that, but we got very busy and did not have time to work on any online orders” so I said “that’s fine I’m just trying to understand if my order is ready or not and if I need to come back” so she sent someone else to check and this young lady was not unpleasant at all but advised I would have to wait another 15 minutes for my order which was literally just two breakfast sandwiches. I am not even mad about the wait- I can understand Saturdays in the summer season probably get busy (even though it seemed very slow and calm from what I could see), but the amount of hostility emitting from that first woman in red was so disgusting to the point where I did not even feel comfortable coming back to pick up my food nor did I trust it to be handled with care/made properly given my experience with this establishment up until this point. I contacted the vendor and got my money back so I wouldn’t have to face the wrath of a woman who is very clearly unhappy with something that has nothing to do with customers simply looking to pick up the food they paid for. I have worked in food service for many years and never once spoke to people this way so there is simply no excuse. Hopefully they do better, but I will not be returning to find out if the food is worth the hassle...
Read moreHad the worst service ever. Took my child for ice cream and 1st they sat us at a dirty table then the waitress asked what we would like to drink she would get us our drinks 1st then go make another tables desserts. Brings our drinks and I tell her the table is dirty and she says OH. She takes off then comes back a few minutes later and cleaned the table. Then I ordered our sundaes told her my son wanted a hot fudge sundae with crazy vanilla ice cream whipped cream and a cherry. No nuts as he is allergic. My sundea maple walnut with maple walnut ice cream, whipped cream and cherry. She takes off to make our sundaes and comes back goes to hand my kid his sundae and it's cookies and cream ice cream with hot.fudge, whipped cream and a cherry and mine is maple walnut ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. I told her that is not what I ordered and got a what did you order then. Well you wrote it all down maybe you want to look. So I tell her what we ordered once again, she takes off to go make it. Comes back with my sundae then a sundae glass with just crazy vanilla ice cream and a side of whipped cream and a side of cherries. She takes off then. She sees I put the ice cream at the end of the table and asked if everything wasOK. I Said for the 3rd time this is supposed to be a hot fudge sundae with crazy vanilla, whipped cream and a cherry.. she goes away and comes back with a side of whipped cream and a side of hot fudge. I tell my kid just eat it because now I'm pretty ticked off. Well 3 bites in he pulled a friggen hair out of his ice cream. Now this is like an hour and a half from the time we sat down and my child really was looking forward to this and now the poor kid is on the verge of tears and so grossed out over the hair as he should be now he never wants to go back...
