Very limited hours due to staffing shortages. If you want to place a mobile order, you have to verify that they are accepting mobile orders because on the days when staffing is limited, you can only order in person. This is a bummer for me as I seem to always be in line behind that person who can't make up their mind and wants to chit chat while the rest of us wait.
Co-located in the shopping plaza with Shaws, parking is shared with other businesses in a busy lot. Pay attention which way you exit as you may be limited in the direction you can turn along East Main Road.
Inside of store is stocked with branded items and grab and go options. They do sell out of salads quickly and often don't have inventory to restock. Faced with supply shortages, some drink options are unavailable until they get deliveries.
The staff working here are nice but being the only Starbucks in Middletown you get familiar with those who frequent and everyone wants to catch up when the lines seem to be the longest. There is no drive-thru here so you'll have to park and come in.

It was dark and dingy with very little seating. Now to the service. The staff were friendly and approachable but as with all outlets these days they have been overwhelmed by the sheer mass of online mobile orders and iced drinks. We waited 20 minutes from entering to leaving with our breakfast (and we were second in the queue on entering!). I went in after 10 minutes just to be sure, but they weren't up yet. I waited patiently for 25 more minutes and when I kindly asked the person at the register about my order she just walked away without saying a word, walked over to the mobile order person and whispered something to them. That mobile order person gave them a look of surprise, went to the drive through register area where they retrieved two drinks and moved them to the order pick-up counter without saying a single word.
