When seeking an establishment with the criteria of 'Sports' and 'Bar', look no further. In Midland, there aren't too many places that really hit the nail on the head when it comes to effectively modeling the sports bar franchise like Buffalo Wild Wings. All staff wear the same uniform which makes them easily identifiable if you require additional service or just need an extra helping of cheese curds. As you might expect there are a plethora of televisions and screens to distract you from the countless of conversations you are able to overhear around you. At times the music can be deafening and it may feel like a nightclub as you have to yell at the person next to you to ask them how their fried chicken wings are.
The food here is about par for the sports bar experience, fried options make up most of the menu. Depending on who is slathering sauce, you may have some arid chicken chunks or a saucy southern mess all over your bib. Portions here are ridiculous so if you expect to take a little home or share a plate, it is very easy to do so. However, if you are Kobayashi and want a challenge for the ages, order a few entrees. The drinks are what this location excels at, they have made themselves a staple as a local watering hole. Cold beverages, decent mixed drinks, and the ever-present question of, "Want another?", will be sure to get you loose on the goose.
The restrooms are certainly nothing to write home about, but with a constant stream of drunk and careless men, women and children abusing that bathroom like a pre-ASPCA rescue animal, it's not a surprise. Thankfully there always seems to be a steady supply of soap and paper towels so you can cleanse yourself of the grime you feel on your body after using the facilities. Good on the employee brave enough to battle that horror everyday. Godspeed.
Overall, for what it is and what it provides, Buffalo Wild Wings is a staple in the community for many people a place to enjoy a meal with family. To watch the big game that brings everyone together. The collective cheer or cry of dismay you hear during the undulation of the big game will strike a chord in your heart. Open later than most places, providing to-go food, hastened service, and to-date electronics will keep this establishment alive and well. Their patrons will remain full, content, and slightly intoxicated.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI haven't been inside bww for a few years so just rated service and atmosphere higher since I'm not sure, but food... absolutely 1 star. We got 2 types of wings for pick up/to go, mango habinaro and sriracha. The wings/drumsticks were all SO small it was honestly funny and had to immediately send a pic to my friend.
Not only were they all tiny, they were do dry from either being overcooked or sat out. Yet they still charge the same price for that joke. Shrinkflation I assume. Sad businesses have no pride nowadays. Speaking of which, we decided to try door dash this week and clicked a burger joint that had smash burgers. We'd never had smash burgers before so wanted to try it. Well they were delivered and in buffalo wild wings containers/packaging 𤣠Honestly the buger wasn't too bad. I'd say 5/10 for a burger and being takeout not too bad.
So to sum it up, this location is trash now, they are awful with what they're known for AND run ghost kitchens that actually does a pinch better than what their company is about. Never even bothering to order from here again even their ghost kitchens since they're obviously desperate for orders/customers. Such a shame since I remember when they came to midland and their mango habinaro will always be my favorite sauce. Buy their sauce but beyond that they're not worth spending any other money on. Miss when they actually had some meat on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSeated right away at noon. We sat on the patio on a beautiful day. It started getting a little busy but outside it wasn't too noisy.
Interesting combination of sauces for the wings but I normally get honey BBQ anything. The menu is varied and I believe just about anyone could find something they like.
I ordered the honey BBQ salad on the lunch menu, along with buffalo chips and a drink. Unfortunately they have Pepsi products but with my diet Pepsi I requested limes š. Hubby ordered the steak quesadilla.
My salad was good and just the right size for lunch. The Buffalo chips could have been crispier and I got them plain (you can get a couple different flavors on them).
The steak quesadilla was good but instead of the pico, or maybe in addition to, salsa would have been great.
For our meals we had a $26 bill. A little high for lunch but comparable to what's around.
Our server was a little slow on the drink refill when hubby requested it but came with a soda refill before I had to ask. We did ask for a tea to go and that was also slow in coming (but I was Yelping and hubs was digging up for the rewards program) . She was however friendly and pointed us to the rewards program.
Nothing too fancy for the restaurant decor, basically bar atmosphere. Plenty of parking and the interior is large with a large patio.
Nice place to come for a...
