Excellent Burgers, awesome menu. We stopped in to try Grub, as we saw it on DoorDash a few nights previous. I’m glad we did, because we were blown away from the food we received here. Both of our burgers were cooked perfectly, topped generously, and big enough you could eat it with a fork and knife and not feel out of place. Other then our two burgers (Wagyu and Bacon) we opted for a variety of sides to get the full experience. Onions rings were thick cut, thick floured, and perfectly fried. Pair them with the in-house ranch, and they’re to die for. Queso and Chips were solid. Fresh chips, unsalted, were cooked perfectly. The Queso was great, reminiscent of the Velveeta/Rotel queso you get at most parties. Topped off with a solid amount of fresh diced Pico Del Gallo. French fries were the best. Crinkle cut, slight crisp, and a great portion for two. Overall, this is a solid spot for lunch or dinner. You’ll leave full, satisfied, and ready to come back.

OK the debate is done. Sorry but Grub is 10 times better. I had the flavored fries was not impressed. The seasoning was good but it seemed as if they left fries under the lamp for to long then tossed them in the seasoning. I shall call them "Stale Ranch fries". I ordered the mushroom burger. There was alot of goat cheese. Didn't taste the mushrooms nor the meat. Meat was really watery, (not savory, "watery") really under cooked. Not very flavorful considering it was goat cheese and mushrooms. I wasn't impressed by the gormet vibe. I was charged seperate for the burger...drink.... Oh and fries also charge seperately. Not many choices either. Staff was great. I don't believe my visit or the food was worth the cost. Family and I agreed a return visit in the future is not probable. Hopdoddy is off our restuarant list.

Loved the vibe, staff was nice, & food was delicious. Goodnight/Good Cause burger I would definitely recommend. Had everything I usually order on a burger. Burger patty was juicy. My only complaint would be the fries being given to me 10+minutes before my burger. I'm sure I could have said "no I'll wait" but I was told they would come a couple minutes before my burger which I figured a couple minutes not a big deal. No we had just finished paying & someone was waiting for us to sit so they could give us our fries. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Next time I go to a Hopdoddy I want to try a shake they looked so good!

I was disappointed in my experience here. The whole thing was just a little sketchy, average, underwhelming, and annoying. It starts when you enter and their doorway still has the iconic "g" as a handle. Which is fairly sloppy and noticeable. They need to figure out a better way to display menus because right now it encourages you to squeeze into a small hallway before the register that everyone has to go through, taking food etc., and everyone is wondering if they can go by and order or are stuck looking at the menus in the same tiny place. They also don't accept cash, which is understandable nowadays, but I saw no fewer than 3 customers walk out while I was waiting because they couldn't pay cash, after going through the trouble of ordering. One, how much business are you losing out on? Two, post it better, it's posted discretely in the front, but I only saw it after leaving and looking. Also, bathrooms weren't clean and weren't renovated, which is again really sloppy. Those complaints are a bit grippy granted. How was the food? Pretty good actually. Cooked well, came out pretty fast, enjoyable though not special (I've had just as good of burgers for less), fries were very good, probably one of the best parts. But the portions were kind of small for what you pay. And you pay close to 2 dollars to add a single slice of cheese and then another dollar or 2 for a bacon strip or two, which is always frustrating. 4 dollars drinks you can't even take to go always feels a little bad. Also, the way they stored their straws kind of put me off, in a bowl, unwrappered, not in a dispenser. My mind kept going back to some kid with snot on his fingers touching all the unprotected straws. If you want unwrappered straws, just add a dispenser. Burger didn't even fill me up, which is unusual for me it doesnt take much, and it cost as much as a high end burger. The place just felt a little price gougy. And it's atmosphere isn't great, employees weren't all that friendly, they did their job, just nothing extra, no one came by and asked us how we were doing or if we wanted anything else or smiled and asked how we were doing. It felt like a new coat of paint on an old place and didn't sit well. It just felt a little off, soulless. Come here if you want a pricy above average bar with burgers. Stay away if you want...

From what I understand, Grub Burger's chain was bought out by Hopdoddy. Given the state of things before the buyout and minor remodel, I thought that the new name and ownership would improve things. I was incorrect.

Given the economy, I'm used to seeing inflated prices. But this was a new level of it, given the quality. The burgers themselves were average, but I don't know if they're $15+ on their own good. Adding fries costs an additional $4.50, and my tray was cold, containing had a mix of somehow half overcooked and half undercooked fries (ie, some were sad and floppy, while others were too crisp to bite). Add another $3.50 for a drink, and your per person cost is $23 before taxes. For this price point, I'd expect the food to be good all around, not just around the same quality of food I could get from say, Wendy's.

The store was no overly crowded, which while I appreciate not having to scream to my dinner guests to get a point across, may speak volumes of similar experiences that other guests may have had in the past, leading to poor turnout of customers. I'd like to see improvement of this location, as when Grub first opened it was easily my favorite place to get a burger, and I'd like to see that level of...

I like eating here. I only wish the prices were softer on my wallet.

I have tried a good variety of burgers from their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Actually, one of my favorite "burgers" they had was the Po Boy back in April. We're in Midland, TX and it was better than the different Po Boys I've had in New Orleans!

Now one time I got the "Kitchen Sink" shake and it was so salty it was crystalizing in the cup. It was so salty, that even drinking about 1/4 of the shake caused me to get nauseous, and my heartbeat spiked. I think this was just an error, however, I've been too scared to try a shake there since xD

One other thing to note is their "spicy" burger isn't spicy. I don't dock them for this since it was still delicious.

If there were two feedback points I would give is: calm down on the salt in the "Kitchen Sink" shake, and really nuke up the spicy burger - DON'T remove the Jalapeño seeds, that's the spicy part!

Edit: The "scorpion burger" inferno style is the kind of spicy I'm looking for. I wrote this review and realized I intended to try their next level of heat. 10/10 I loved it. Please just look...
