My husband and I were so excited about going to this place, especially knowing some history about this establishment. Being an oilfield man himself, he's heard about so many great things that have taken place here. We don't live in the area, so we don't frequent Midland often, so being here would've been special. My husband and I brought his sister(my sister'n'law) here from California. Her flight got in a little later than expected, so we rushed on over because we had 45 mins before they closed. I'm fully aware I said 45 mins but we had already all decided on a pizza so we figured it would be ok. We walked in, and immediately was told, "We're closed" by one of the 3 girls standing there. One of the servers was even whispering to the host and the host answered with, just tell them we're closed. So the server ended up saying, "we just haven't had people in, in a while sooo, we're closed! I hope management never gets wind of the hosts turning people away... with plenty of time to serve them. It isn't very good work practice or etiquette, especially if you have 3 people who tip very well. Sadly having experienced this type of service, I can honestly say we won't try again...

First of all, my first time there and I could sense a lot of arrogance from all the staff including the manager. They really not very welcoming at all, almost as if you're a bother to them and like they're doing you a favor. I went in close to closing time and ordered and when they brought me the spaghetti on the first bite it was cold and tasteless really I let the server know and she took it and brought me another one and that one was the same and she took it and brought me another one and that one was so hot that I couldn't eat it. I asked for my ticket paid and left. She didn't even ask me if I would like my tea to go 😔 I called right after to speak to the manager and of course his answer to me was they don't serve cold spaghetti, but they do. I'm not a liar. I don't know where he was when my spaghetti was sent back to the kitchen 2 times for being cold. I had seen him in there I even asked him about the pictures on the wall. Finally, after him justifying his kitchen sending out cold food to customers he told me to come back give them another chance. I'm...

First of all, I would like to start by saying thank you to the wonderful staff at Luigi's. The service is excellent, fast and friendly. I can only think of a few places in Midland that check off all those boxes.

Now let's talk about the food. Even if it's your first time going or you're already a loyal Luiginatic, you can get anything there and it won't ever miss. Everything is delicious! Made in house, fresh and leaves you feeling satisfied. They're the truest representation of Italian food in West Texas.

My husband and I both love their spaghetti and meat sauce the most. He said that it brought back great childhood memories and felt like a warm hug all over. Like that scene from Ratatouille where the critic has a bite and sends him into a flashback of his mother's cooking.

Overall, with the service, the food and the atmosphere, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. The Hochman family really created something wonderful and I would recommend Luigi's to anyone wanting delicious, authentic and affordable Italian food. 😋

Grazie, Luigi's!...

MaMaMiA!!!!! What a place! What an experience! Luigis is a restaurant in the truest sense- they make nearly everything in house! Ranch, idealism dressing, marinara, you name it and they carefully craft it! This helps to create food that is out of sight! The thin crispy style pizza is a must try! The pasta and meatballs we had were incredible as well. But let’s talk about atmosphere- the entire time I was is in the restaurant I had feelings of my time spent in little Italy in lower manhattan. The building is dark and packed with shadows from the candle light dancing everywhere. They really pack the place in with people yet I couldn’t tell you anything about the people sitting near us! Incredible atmosphere that really builds on to a great experience. Our waitress was Kimberly who did an incredible job! Fast, friendly, and always smiling! Overall this left us with one of the best restaurant experiences in west Texas and we look forward to the next visit.

I have been wanting to go here to eat many times, but never did, and I talked to a coworker who said he’d like to place. So tonight I went, the parking is extremely limited, but you can still find lots of parking in and around. That’s pretty accessible. The place is very quaint and warm feeling, it remind you of a really nice authentic Italian restaurant. Service was great and the food was just as good, I had the stuffed manicotti with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce. And then for dessert I had tiramisu great place can’t wait to go here again. If you like good Italian food and atmosphere then try it out.

What an excellent find it was when I was introduced to this restaurant during my last trip to Midland. The prices were very reasonable, the service was excellent, and the cuisine was very authentic for an Italian restaurant. There is something of a history wall on both sides of the restaurant, which I feel really should be updated. The place was very clean, and we loved the candles at each table. The place really gave off an old school Italian vibe. My coworker stated that the only thing this place was missing was the Italian mob boss asking Tony to try the minestrone soup!
