McDonald's — Restaurant in Midland

This McDonald's is so terrible. I truly dislike giving bad ratings but I feel this has to be known to the public. My family went there twice and the first time they messed up our order seven times! I literally had to go back up to the register 7 times to get items fixed! I thought maybe the staff was just having an off day since they were busy but the next visit was worse. My husband went up and inquired why both the ketchup dispensers were empty. A female employee told him they were both broken. I thought it was funny they were both broken at the same time and no out of order sign was on either of them but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Later we heard that same employee talking with a coworker saying that she told some stupid customers that the ketchup dispensers were broken because she didn't want to deal with filling them. Then she went on to say it didn't matter because those customers probably hate us anyways because we screwed up their order like a million times last time. My little ones are 6, 2, and 1 and they love to play with the table that lights up but sadly we will not be returning to this Midland McDonalds. If you are going to lie to your customers make sure you speak softly when you talk about how lazy and incompetent you are as an employee. Extremely disappointed in this bad behavior. They just remodeled this restaurant! It looks fabulous and has a very comfortable atmosphere. The dining room is now almost cozy, it's definitely more comfortable. The new method of bringing, serving food to the tables is rather nice! Being able to order and pay at a kiosk is nice, especially for people whom do like to have to speak or order through speaking to a person. Kiosks are user friendly as well. The drive thru is basically the same as before but the new screens that show your food choice and then bill are nice and very easy to read.

The improvements to the restrooms are nice as well. I like the little figures of a boy or girl, very easy for children to understand. They made me chuckle when I saw them. It's nice also that the faucet and hand dryers are touch less. It would be nice if the soap dispensers we're as well. Fingers crossed that they can keep them as neat and clean as they are now.

These improvements bring McDonald's to a while new level of fast food service.

The addition of the Buttermilk Chicken Strips are a great add! Not to mention so much better then the regular chicken nuggets, which are most children's go to food.

I’m very patient. I always get unsweet tea when I ask for sweet, I often don’t get the right modifications, today my macchiato was shaken up. None of that is a big enough deal for me to really complain about, most people there go above and beyond.

BUT THIS is disgusting. I was ripping up pancakes for my kids, get to the bottom pancake and there is what looks to be a bite taken? Hopefully not, hopefully it was just a prank and was actually ripped off or even better hopefully it broke when it was frozen… in a perfect bite shape. But nonetheless it looks like a bite. Like someone put their grimey mouth on the pancake I paid for and was going to give my kids. That’s gross ALL the time but especially in the midst of a pandemic. Do better.
