Location is also a KFC. Absolutely worst fast food service I’ve ever received! Not at all exaggerating! Terrible!! Ordered online at 840…they close at 11. Showed up at 858 and lights off and chairs on the tables. Went to drive thru as the doors were locked where they told me to pull up at the box and when I got to window a very rude worker announced they were out of chicken sandwiches and old fashion bowls. I had already paid mind you. She went to get another worker who tried to come to the window and yell and intimidate me by acting ghetto. They refused to offer anything to substitute saying it’s against their policy. They refused to refund me and said I have to go online and cancel the order. I showed them the app and asked how to do that? They didn’t even look and said “look I don’t know what to tell you but they ain’t got no food and they have stuff to do.” I asked who the manager was and they shut the window. Then they came back while still on the phone and wouldn’t tell me the managers name but said that yes what she had told me was right and could I pull forward bc they have other people to serve. I said I’m not moving until you tell me the managers name! (They planned to just get me out of the way and then leave me sitting.) at this point I was told they were calling “the law.” I hoped somebody would! Thats when they said they didn’t know the managers name…I started to lose my cool about this point and told them wait you said you’re on the phone with them! What’s their name?! I was told the managers name is Judy, but who knows if that’s true. I felt bad for the people behind me for waiting and bc they were about to deal with the same stuff I had. Needless to say I called the 800 number and made an incident report before heading to the midland Dr location that was still lit up with lobby open. Night and day different. Avoid at all costs or expect similar treatment. The employees at midland Dr location said it’s different management and that they know people from that store and it’s nasty in there and managers support them acting rudely to customers. Read moreRUN! LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had getting food. All I ordered were two cravings box combos. Here is what all happened. Most of the staff was very RUDE! The cashier lady was the “nicest” one, but she also didn't seem to know what she was doing? I walked in to order two cravings box combos, and she thought I said Deluxe. I replied, “No, it's on the cravings menu.” And I pointed to the menu. She proceeded to overcharge me for deluxe boxes, so I kindly asked for a refund. She said, “I don't know how, only the manager can refund you.” So I asked the manager who proceeded to ignore me. I call for the manager again, and she yells at me to “wait a dawn minute!” Then proceeds to bad mouth, me and other customers who were waiting. So I grabbed my drinks and waited. I understand that they were understaffed, it seemed like, but being rude to customers is not the way. I waited for an HOUR! Along with other customers. One guy was waiting for chips and queso. A lady was waiting on her Door Dash order that she showed but was giving a dine in order? There was a line building up, I saw a group of people order, and after they paid, I told them that they'll be waiting for a long time and they all seemed pissed! I was warning people going in that they'll be waiting long, so they left the store as well. I finally received my food after an hour, but I was still waiting for my refund. The cashier lady kept taking orders. I finally got her attention for my refund, and she decided to give me my refund in cash instead. I just took it and left because I was tired of waiting and already had my food in hand. TLDR, the place was understaffed, everyone was rude, I was overcharged and refunded in cash after an hour waiting for food and refund along with other angry customers. RUN! No matter how many chances I try to give this place—for the simple love of Taco Bell—I am consistently reminded why I should permanently remove this place from any list of fast food options in Midland. Always AT LEAST half an hour to get food, whether in the drive through or inside. Complain about it AT ALL, and the staff acts like it’s your fault with side-eyes, grumbling and an almost feral avoidance of accountability. Just today, I left without my food after getting a refund at the 40-minute mark—for one Crunchwrap. Seriously, this is the worst string of experiences I’ve had at ANY food joint at any point in my entire life. Were somebody to ask me to rank what restaurants to avoid in Midland at ALL costs, this Taco Bell would be an immediate first on the list. By far and without hesitation. There’s not even a close second. Genuinely, there’s no telling how much money this franchisee could be making if the management and employees actually performed and provided like ANY OTHER Taco Bell I’ve ever been to.
