I went here opening day. I had been super excited about this place when I saw that they were under construction. I understand that it was opening day, but they did open 15 minutes late as employees kept coming out to take a bunch of photos.
Once they did open, I was immediately questioned about my Instagram following and other followings. But I do understand that this was for promotion and allows an incentive to come.
I ordered a Mango Milk Tea Slushie. I was charged between $7 to $8 dollars for a large and received a medium. I later found out they only have a medium of that drink. So I'm very confused on how they charged me almost double.
While waiting for my drink to be made, I noticed that there was only 1 person making drinks and they were machine made. It look me 15 minutes to receive my drink from when I ordered.
When I took a sip of my drink, it was very watered down with not a lot of flavor at all. After a couple of sips, I started to feel sick and so did my spouse who tried it as well. We noticed the flavor changed and had a weird aftertaste that weirdly tasted like cucumber?? The drink was also separating after sitting for like 5 minutes.
I've also had an employee look at me and seemingly glared at me and looked annoyed.
I have gone a couple of time after open day but unfortunately nothing has really changed for me.
Keep in mind that I've only tried the drinks and not...
Read moreI typically love coming here: the baked goods are quite tasty, teas are yummy (a bit overpriced for my liking), and it’s just a cozy little spot where you can meet up with friends or get work done. The employee, Sherry, was rude from the get go the minute I walked in — and I think for good reason. I greeted her and she pretty much didn’t say anything back; even asked how she was and she just frowned and gave me a thumbs up. Off and on when I was waiting for my drink, I caught her roll her eyes at a customer that ordered after me. For starters, she appeared to be the only employee working behind the cash register and preparing drinks. Typically I see maybe three or four people working, but she was sadly the only person handling it all. I can understand the stress and the lack of friendliness to patrons ordering. I hope this company treats their employees and staff well. Secondly, the only thing that grinds me gears is the lack of a nutrition guide on their baked goods and probably extremely sugary tea beverages. I’m glad they include allergens on their food descriptions, but information regarding caloric and/or sugar intake would be...
Read moreThe presentation when you open the door and walk in it's fantastic it's very nice but once you get to picking out what you want to order you cannot order you have to get it yourself it's hard for me to use a set of tongs and carry a tree while I'm trying to walk with a cane but that's my problem lots of the things they have in the case look like desserts they look very good but a whole lot of things they have when you first walk in and there's big glass cases it seems like it's all kind of the same thing just with different ingredients on the top and the price of the drinks they have there they wanted $2.50 for a half a pint of milk personally I believe a lot of people will go there once or twice but it'll probably burn out and people will get tired of it it's not something that people go there for to sit down and eat is it hard to tell which is the desert and which is a role with lots of stuff on it but that's just my opinion you may go there once twice maybe three times and then you won't go there anymore but that's...
