I tried and tried to like firehouse subs. I’ve gone countless times at this point. The most recent and last time I will ever order from them - I put no cheese on the order. I have a dairy allergy, I cannot eat a sandwich with cheese, my husband can eat cheese. As the picture shows, 2 sandwiches both the exact same - covered in cheese and not toasted.

Every single time I’ve gone to either location in the area, my order is incorrect, the sandwich is never toasted, at all. Prior to this I went in person months ago and had to ask 3 times to ā€œkeep toasting the bread pleaseā€ until it was actually yellowed and a little browned on the edges. When a sandwich is toasted, it should have a crispy crunch. These sandwiches are always wet and squishy.

I’m really disappointed because I’ve wanted to like this place. The lack of toasting, despite the name, the lack of respect for what a customer requests, & potentially endangering customers with food allergies - I’ll just go to jersey Mike’s or wawa from now on,...

Well I think Fire House needs to get down with the program as far as their app and online services. So I order a sandwich, go to pick it up and have to wait 15 and 20 minutes!! The food is good but I feel like the waiting after ordering and paying online or on the app, defeats the purpose. Why would you order using these things if you are gonna have to wait. When I ask, the excuse is that they have to close you out still. I have no problem with this but my thing is I have to wait so long before you get to me and when I do finally get my food it is cold. Nobody has it down like Panera bread. All you have to do is pick up your food and go. No dealing with people or anything. Very fast, convenient and friendly! Fire house need to get whatever system Panera has so they can get with the program for real. This is the reason I don't go there too often. I am about to stop going...

Firehouse Subs offers an easy choice for a quick and tasty lunch. Whether you're in a rush and want to grab something quickly or you have time to sit and savor a well prepared sub, this location should be one you consider. The subs themselves are relatively standard fare for a "warm sub" style shop, but the service at this particular location is better than usual. The proprietor works the register and is always friendly and eager to make sure your visit is a good as it can be. At Team Hensley Real Estate we are always looking for great lunch spots to add to our favorites list of good places to eat in Midlothian VA, whether we are traipsing around town with clients or having a quick team meeting. The good subs and the great service make Firehouse Subs one of our "go to"...

We have been to other Firehouse locations and enjoyed them, but this one failed to impress. There was trash on the floor in the common areas, noticeable food under and on top of each table, and we found a hair in my son's turkey sandwich. The service was fine and the wait was moderate (~15 mins but we also came at a peak lunch time). Given all the cleanliness issues though, I doubt we'll come back.

Great tasting subs. 3 sizes. They offer recommended toppings for their sandwiches, but I'm certain you can have it your way. I had a medium spicey chicken on wheat. It was on special for only $6. I would say the medium is 8 inches. It was really great tasting. It had just enuff zing. The bread was soft even though fresh toasted. There are just a few small tables for eat in.
