Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of working with Small Cakes RVA for our birthday celebrations this year, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From December to February 15(today), we celebrated multiple birthdays, and each time, Small Cakes RVA has exceeded our expectations.
First and foremost, the cakes/cupcakes are absolutely delicious! Whether it's a classic chocolate, a strawberry cheesecake, or a rich red velvet, or my favorite KEY LIME, each cake has been moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. They strike the perfect balance between sweetness and richness, making them a hit with both kids and adults alike.
What truly sets Small Cakes RVA apart, however, is their outstanding customer service. The team is incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that each cake meets our specific needs. They’ve listened to our requests, offered helpful suggestions, and made the entire ordering process effortless. Every interaction has been filled with kindness and professionalism, making us feel valued as customers.
Moreover, the presentation of the cakes is always impressive. Each cake is not only delicious but also a cute work of art that adds a pop to our celebrations. It's clear that they take pride in their craft, and it shows in...
Read moreTerrible experience at this place unfortunately, as I love to support small businesses. I saw a sign on the door with the food Network logo. I went inside because I noticed they had ice cream, And when I find out they don't serve milkshakes I opted for an ice cream cone.. while The Young Man was making my ice cream cone behind the counter I asked him if they were featured in food network, And he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He had no idea about the sign displayed nor how to make a proper ice cream cone. $4.20 after taxes will get you a cake cone with a half of scoop of ice cream on it. I have seen children's cones at other establishments bigger than this. When I asked the gentleman about it, He replies that he can fit more in a cup, I guess suggesting I should have ordered the cup. It's really okay as the ice cream was mediocre at best anyways. I will be including the picture. I At least know how they came up with the name...
