Being a resident of Midlothian I rarely stop at any of the fast food restaurants in town due to the frequent inaccuracies of orders that my husband & I have received in the past. McDonald's by Kroger is the only one that gets it right, and it's always fresh& hot, even when it's 15-20 minutes to close. I stopped by this location and went through the drive-thru to place my order. My order was the grilled chicken club. The young lady who took my order, I told her Colby Jack cheese, although, she should have asked me after I told her what I wanted. I asked for a little ice in my lemonade. Upon receiving my order, my lemonade didn't have any ice, but I let that pass& proceeded to go home. To my dismay, my sandwich only had lettuce& the piece of chicken. There was no tomato, no bacon nor cheese on my sandwich. I packed everything back up and went back to Chick-fil-A & spoke with one of the managers on duty. I pulled everything out and gave them the receipt and explained to them this is not what I ordered and told them I don't want it, just give me my money back. I then asked who's the manager on duty, she pointed to another young gentleman, I asked him who is over both of them. He proceeds to tell me they were not there. I asked him who was over that person and he told me the owner of that location's name. To the owner of this location if you're reading this, you may need to visit some of the other franchises, one in particular, the one in Grand Prairie off 360& Sublet being that I have frequent that location often because it's on my way to work, I never have had an issue and they're always packed! And the one time my order wasn't correct, they offered to remake it, followed by taking my name and number, I received a call from the manager & discussed my issue& received two gift cards in the mail. I'm not looking for any freebies but your location needs some additional training in handling situations such as what happened tonight! And yes I was a little irate being that I was inconvenienced! My order was taken at 7:30 p.m. My refund stamp is on my refund stamped is 8:03 pm. I rarely do food reviews on restaurants but this one tonight had me HOT!!! DO BETTER! That's the problem with a lot of these fast food restaurants over here, it's run by kids! True they need a job but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for...Well, I want just that, not to be inconveince and have to go back to the establishment due to an inaccurate order after I've made it home!!!! Read moreThe food wasn’t the problem. It was a horribly rude and just overall disrespectful employee holding a purplish pink phone, wearing a black apron and with a ponytail. I was so overwhelmingly mad I couldn’t even catch her name. My boyfriend and I arrived 15 minutes before closing and both got two chicken sandwiches, which we could finish within 5-8 minutes. We sat down to wait for our food and said employee with the ponytail walks up to us and says “We’re gonna give you until 10:05 then you need to gather your things and leave.” And walked away. We just kind of looked at each other because she can clearly see we haven’t even received our food. Our food didn’t arrive until 9:55 and as we start eating, a manager (we guess) comes up and politely tells us they are going to give us until 10:08 before we have to head out because they have to clean. He was very kind and we agreed as we had just started eating. The time was 10 and around 10:04/10:05 that lady returns and, without stopping, mutters “it’s 10:05 you need to gather your things and leave.” At that point I was beyond furious and we took our time until 10:08 to leave. As we’re leaving, my boyfriend asks her where he can throw his trash away since two cans were gone, and she replied “the trash cans are closed.” And she walked to the front, turned around and said “I’ll take them.” Rolls her eyes, just leaves after my boyfriend says thank you. I have no idea if she’s upset because she has to work on Valentine’s Day or if she’s just an overall unhappy person, but she needs to be reprimanded for her ugly attitude and poor customer service. To the man that kindly gave us that eight extra minutes, I thank you for being a nice human being with great social skills and customer service. To the young girl who had a horrible attitude, I hope you realize what you did was wrong and have a better attitude...
Read moreAfter the 10th time of half of our meal not given to, either a half order or messed up... the manager on duty tonight was beyond rude and when I explained the situation she kept cutting me off when I asked her for the food to be replaced she said the food I’m looking to receive is out and they can offer me the food tomorrow. I explained I have kids to feed on the food they forgot and they should’ve told us that when we ordered she said I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do but offer you something else because they’re out or the food tomorrow. I said no, I want a refund then because I paid for a food y’all messed up on and didn’t give us. she said I can’t do that but I can’t offer you something else from the restaurant. I said I want to speak to the manager she said she is THEE manager. I said ok we’ll be up there in a minute. We got back up there and she wouldn’t come up to the counter to talk to me. She kept looking at the screen instead of apologizing for her part in the situation. I have worked in food service for 9 years and this is not how you conduct business. You rectify the situation immediately when it’s your employees fault and make sure that you keep business up, in any way possible. Another manager approached and amazing!! They had the food we ordered ready to go..??? But they were out though right.??? This has brought out my inner “Karen”.
