My favorite place to eat is chicken fiesta. I have went to this specific location dozens of times. Today was the first day (and on Fatherâs Day of course) that i had disgusting food from a chicken fiesta. My husband and I had the same thing and his was the same exact way. Soggy cheesesteak bread, hard bland steak on the cheesesteak, burnt steak for the carne asada tacos as well as zero flavor. That was a $50 meal for 2 cheese steaks, and 4 carne asada tacos, and a side of rice. That went in the trash, literally. Iâm just really disappointed and we only got take out because itâs Fatherâs Day. We canât afford to just throw food away, so Iâm telling you for us to have thrown out food away, it was awful. We also called our food in, and I got there and paid and the woman on the register completely forgot to give me my food (I thought that it wasnât ready) and after waiting for 10 minutes, another woman came from the kitchen acknowledging me, and let me know that someone had forgotten to give me my food so it has been sitting there for longer than necessary. That explains to sogginess, not the hard, burnt, and flavorless food. I am hoping today was just an off day, but I absolutely wonât be returning for a while. The steak doesnât even look like it usually...
Read moreI just had the worst experience at this Chicken Fiesta, and it was my very first time trying the restaurant. I attempted to call in a pickup order and was repeatedly placed on hold or hung up onâthree times in total. The staff refused to take my order over the phone because I couldnât describe their exact location, even though I was literally four minutes away and using GPS to get there.
I decided to drive over anyway and ask to speak with a manager, but no manager ever came out. Instead, three employees surrounded me and ganged up with excuses about not wanting to âwaste foodâ or being âconfusedâ about where customers are headed. I made it clear I was calling the number listed online for the location I was driving to, but they still refused to take accountability.
The inside of the restaurant was clean, and I did end up getting my food. However, after the back and forth, I honestly didnât even feel comfortable eating it. The food was just okayânothing special and definitely not worth the hassle or the way I was treated.
I will never return to this location, and I recommend that if you plan to order from here, make sure you already know exactly where it is and what landmarks itâs nearâbecause they clearly donât have time or patience to help...
Read moreWe ordered take out yesterday and were SUPER disappointed.
We lived in Richmond when the first location opened and, although more expensive than your typical Peruvian chicken restaurant, quality and quantity was always A+.
Yesterday was the fourth time we ordered to go since moving back to the area, and every time it has gotten progressively worse.
We ordered a whole chicken with two sides- yucca and plantains. When we opened the box at home we realized we didnât have a whole chicken, it was maybe 3/4 of a chicken and when we started distributing the yucca we realized there were only 6 pieces in the bag. We realized they had dramatically decreased the amount of yucca per order the first time we ordered after moving back, but this was less than what weâve gotten the last 3 times (they used to give half of a to-go boxâs worth when they first opened).
As far as quality, the chicken was super dry and in some areas completely burned, and so were the plantains.
I know that with inflation prices have gone up, but the value just isnât there anymore. I would rather pay a little more and get the quality and quantities...
